Great Robot for the Rapberry Pi Platform
Great product for the price, parts are well machined and the open source option leaves the developer to greatly expand its capabilities. This robot can be used by a beginner or a tech savvy person. I think the big winner however is their support team, they answer questions on pretty much the same day and they are extremely helpful.

Loved it
I loved how the customer service from HiWonder gave really fast responses on questions about their product. The robot allowed my son and his friends to experiment with robotics, implement object detection algorithms and more without having to worry too much about making sure the hardware was correct. Regarding the product, we recommend it for anyone who wants to use it for their custom projects and it offers great customizability and a user-friendly interface. The robot itself is beginner-friendly and easy to assemble. For instructions, users can visit the HiWonder youtube channel to find a variety of tutorials and instructions for their products. The app is great in terms of functionality, and we recommend the PC software for further customizability. Outstanding product overall and we can tell that a lot of effort was certainly put into this!!

Just buy the Pi expansion board, power supply, motors, mecanum wheels, and 3D print the rest.
This was designed without care. * The aluminum blocks wifi signals so remoting into the pi, which is required, is harder. Taking off the aluminum above the pi shows an immediate increase in wifi signal strength. Use plastic there instead. * The robot cannot be run while the batteries are charging. This would be maybe a 5$ addition. You can buy a 6V 10A charger and run the robot indefinitely, but as it is, you charge it for several hours and run it for one. * The library for controlling the board is hard to find. It's Hiwonder/MasterPi on GitHub. That should be in the description or at least on the website for anyone using their own Pi. Costs 0$ to do that. * The holding bars and aluminum cage block the pi ports. Pi USB-C being blocked makes sense since we don't want the pi trying to power motors, but not the HDMI1, not the headphone jack (blocked by the wheel), and especially not the SD card. I had to take apart the whole robot to get to the SD card since a lot of packages were broken in Debian Trixie for the Pi instead of Debian Bookworm. * Camera has a 90 degree fov. There are fisheye lenses that can get 210 fov and transforms to get 90 from that if needed for OpenCV. They don't cost much more than the default lens. As is, the robot has no peripheral vision. * The batteries should have a failsafe system and should not burn everything above them if they fail. Robots move on their own and are high amperage, so their battery systems should have more safety than phones. Just put it on top, in the back, with an exhaust around where the tail would be. Of these, the port and SD card blocking and how hard it was to find the control library would be the easiest to fix and show a lack of care in both design and sales.

Arrived broken, seller was very good at helping resolve the issue with new parts.
We received this robot and did not immediately have time to assemble. With about 4 days left on the return status we discovered it was not completely functional. None of the servos were working. We contacted Amazon and then the seller via the message center. The seller had me do some root cause analysis steps, most of which I had already done, and it was still not resolved. I suggested that I check voltages as I was getting a power error message on the RaspPi home screen. They had me check voltage of the supply, which was spot on, and the output from the board to the servos, which was 5V instead of 7.4V. They then sent me a new board and power supply and this resolved the issue. As an engineer, I know that having an issue like this is a great teaching tool even if it was a little frustrating and time consuming to resolve. Happy with the purchase!

Robot goes haywire video
No manual included. Assembler video is ok but not clear how to wire the servos. When finally done I downloaded the WonderPi app and the control worked. I had to connect to an unsecured WiFi to use the app, so I cannot use my phone while operating, but often the wifi served from the robot disconnects midway, and the robot keeps moving and spinning out of control.

A robot for beginners with interesting AI features
The robot is good in terms that it does what it says. However, it may need some additional adjustments and calibration to work as expected. Also, the bundling and strapping of cables can be improved. What I like the most are the details, the easy-to-follow documentation and the tech support. Recommend buying one of this.

Assembly is possible but magical...
I can't find a guide or tutorial, there's a lot of headscratching. I'll see what happens.

Very fun
I bought this to learn more about robotics. It has opened up a lot of possible projects. The assembly instructions are written and they also have videos. Took about a half hour to assemble.
