I always find myself doing various projects that involve wiring and I've typically used a hodge-podge of the generic tools you would find in a typical toolbox to accomplish wire-stripping and crimping tasks. Upgrading to this 8 piece set is a real game changer. The wire strippers are fast, easy and efficient and even have an adjustable stop so you can set the length of the strip. The crimping tool itself is very cool. The jaws are interchangeable to tackle a variety of wire connector crimping tasks, and they are easy to exchange with the push of a tab. I did notice that a few of the jaw sets are a little tight in the slot of the tool, but it does not affect performance, just the ease at which they insert/remove when changing the style of the crimp you are performing. I feel a little lubrication such as graphite, or just time and usage may ease this minor inconvenience. The adjustable crimping pressure is also a nice feature, in that you can fine-tune the pressure you are applying to your crimp. Great when you might have a wire that is a little larger or smaller gauge for the connector you are crimping on to still get a nice consistent and strong crimp. I've attached a picture of the adjustment mechanism as I couldn't find any documentation on how to actually adjust, but it's fairly straight forward with crimp pressure ranging from 1-3, with 1 being the least pressure (compression), and 3 being the most - also requiring the most effort. Pull the adjuster out and turn it to point the number to the arrow/dot on the tool to set the desired pressure. Wiggle/twist it slightly to get the pins on the bottom of the adjuster knob to set back down into the tool. The wire stripper, crimper, and the interchangeable crimping jaws come in a convenient carry case that holds everything securely in it's place. It might be a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the tools, the practicality of the interchangeable crimp heads, and the convenient carry case makes it well worth it.

The crimpers work great and the strippers worked just as good I like the adjustable setting on the strippers. Got them out of the package and the Jaws were not offset any they were straight.Took a little bit of getting used to where to adjust for different sized wires but all in all I'm very satisfied.

This is an excellent set for a ratchet crimping tool and the wire strippers are a bonus. I thing the price is a bit high but I didn’t see another set like this that I wanted more. I’ve only used the “D” jaws for open barrel terminals so far so I’m not sure if I’ll need all of the other jaw sets but it’s nice to have them just in case. I don’t really understand why there is one blank space in the case for another set of jaws. It makes me want to buy another set of jaws to fill that spot and make the set complete but I don’t see any other jaw sets from this company to even purchase as an add-on. That being said the jaws slide out and lock into the crimper really smooth. It seems well built and it worked perfect for the one wiring project that I needed them for so far. The wire stripper worked great too. It’s nice to have it all in one case for easy transport. The blue/yellow colors remind me of Irwin pliers which has always been good quality for tools I’ve purchased. I’m sure I’ll be using this set for many years to come.

I love this tool. The wire stripper really works much better than I anticipated. It is a little difficult to use if you are trying to strip a small portion of the end of a wire and requires a bit of practice for that. The crimper is really solid and it is super easy to switch out the crimp inserts. It was easy to grip the crimp ends and a couple of squeezes and they are secure. These are more expensive but in my opinion they are worth the money.

Regarding your Crimping Tool HS-6001T Guide Chart included - The picture of each crimping jaw set is not clear enough to read to be practical to use. The jaw letters A,B,C,D,E,F and AWG numbers on each jaw are not readable on the guide chart pictures. The only thing that is useful is the shape of the jaw openings. I had to write the jaw letter by each picture to help some to match up with each type of terminal.

I’m glad I went with these crimpers. They’re solid design, sturdy construction, and simple to use. I really like the quick change jaws. I’ve used a couple of different ones and they make a great connection. I would recommend these.

LOVE the crimpers!!! Could just end there but gotta say that I am not as enamored as a lot about the strippers, not so good on smaller ga wires.

The interchangeable jaws are solid and the tool is robustly made. I am a technician by trade and these crisper are good for everything from solar panel DC connectors to electrical lugs and mini cable crimps. Every cable and connector I have crimped has been terminated perfectly and the crimps do not come loose. I have used many brands in the past but these ones will probably be the last set I will use moving forward. The carry case helps not to loose them and keeps the tool nice and dry. They are worth the price and are of high quality.

The ratcheting mechanism and the quick change for the dies are really nice. These are great all around crimpers. There is quite the learning curve to know which dies to use with what kind of ends but it is nice to have a tool that can do all the common stuff in one package

LOTS going on with each piece. Very functional, versatile and well thought out design. The crimping heads are quick release so they may not have the longest life in a shop or with daily use, but initial use these are great! I love this spreader-style strippers and these have a tension adjuster (that I need to play with still to test and see if it's worthwhile vs the MAC tools variant at a much higher price). Good price, excellent product, perfect for seasoned techs, new apprentices or DIYers with electrical projects at home.

This set includes more jaws than I will ever need, so far I’ve tested it with insulated, heat shrink, and non-insulated crimping jaws, and each ones works fantastic. The adjustable crimp strength is a great feature, and the included automatic wire strippers are very sharp and work flawlessly.
