Great to transfer VHS tapes
Purchased this to transfer Old vhs tapes to my laptop.Using a separately purchased scart to HDMI I then connect the vhs player to the ugreen capture card and use OBS software to capture the video. It works well but would require some tweaking. Would say easy to set up and would recommend.

superb bit of kit
I bought this to replace a 4k unit that i was only using in 1080p anyway which has constantly disconnecting or unhappy with the refresh rate or resolution and was a total nightmare. This Ugreen unit has been the polar opposite. It just works. No lag on the pass through, shows up as a standard bideo capture device and audio input on both PC or Mac. No drivers or extra software required. I've done tens of hours of streaming and capture with this thing from a PC an Xbox and iPhone with HDMI converter and an iPad with HDMI converter. Everything just works. Never locks up like the other ones. It's brilliant value for money if you don't need 4k

Good quality for the price
Not as versatile as most other cheap grabbers on the market. Unlike other cheap chinese grabbers this one is HDCP compliant, so copy protection will stop it from grabbing from say a fire tv stick or similar compliant device. Otherwise a decent bit of budget kit.

Works perfect right out of the box
Was looking for a graphics card to stream from my switch and this one was so easy to set up, order came a day earlier than I was expecting and worked perfectly right away. The cable to connect your laptop/pc (usb-c to usb/usb c) is a bit short, but that can be replaced easily. Really good product for a really good price and the colors and video quality is great on the output.

Does not work with TV stick
Will not connect to TV stick as specifically described in the specification, therefore useless. Won't even pass through the tv stick

Reasonable product, ideal for recording, not live streaming
Caused my stream to freeze several times during my streams, my community had to let me know in chat every time it happened, this caused lots of missed clip opportunities. Since changing to a branded competitor i have had no such issues. Stream quality on this device is very good, so ideal for recording content but not as good on live content streaming

Great as always
I've always been weirdly brand-loyal to UGreen for misc. tech things. Cables, chargers, adapters etc. - I've had so many from them over the years (because they literally make everything), and I've always found the quality to be fantastic. I wanted a capture card and when I saw UGreen had one for cheap that met all my needs, I knew I had to take a chance on it. And guess what? It's great, same as always.It connected to my PC with no trouble, and was easy to set up as a capture device in OBS too. I've used my Xbox on it, my Switch on it, and even a VCR for digitising old tapes (through a scart to HDMI connverter, then going into this capture card), and it's all worked flawlessly.
