Is this sticky at all? I am looking for a hair color heat protectant that also feels like a leave in conditioner - smoothing and not sticky

No it is NOT, like leave in conditioner, spray it before heading out to the Beach ..outside. Nice scent drys like leave in.

I am looking for leave in cond for color treated hair that protect sun UV. Is this product a leave in and won’t dry out color treated hair?

I have used this product exclusively for many years because I play golf out in the sun regularly. I know colored hair can eventually look like straw when you are out in the sun so much, but this keep the UV rays from penetrating and drying out my hair. It does extremely well on short hair, and pretty well on long hair. I've had both. I don't go outside without it on my hair. Oh, I also luse PM shampoo and conditioner for colored hair as well.

Does the product have an expiration date?

I did not see one, So I'm using in next month..used it already -its great!!

Does it protect your scalp from burning?

No. I believe it helps protect the strands of your hair from the heat damage caused by styling tools. But it will not protect your scalp from either the heat of the tool or from sun burns.

Great spray to protect color and hydrate

I really like this spray. It locks in my color and protects it from the sun. It smells really good and is also a great leave in spray. It has a great texture and can be used on dry hair, although it’s better on damp. Highly recommend; high quality and well crafted. It’s also a good amount of product for the price.
