Deeper than many cases.
I like this case because it's deeper than many of the other cases, so there is ample room for storage in the main compartment AND the lid. Like many others, I get this case for other than it's intended use. This has ample space to fit some of my items that are too "fat" for other cases, without having to go to a way oversized case. I like to save some of the bubble wrap and foam from other deliveries, and use it to pack around anything that may tend to shift around inside.

Well made and excellent protection!
This is a great slim semi-hardshell case. Zippers work well and the case is a nylon shell will provide great scratch protection and moderate crush protection.
