Flimsy but effective
Way too invested in the Milwaukee platform to be buying $200 dewalt batteries too.. works great for the few dewalt tools that you can’t live without.

These are a must! So easy and save so much money only needing a few batteries and own any tool.
These do have a buck/step down converter. That’s even better because an M12 is 11.7v charged and 9v dead. This puts out 12v all the time then nothing so you get every bit of time and that’s 5x the electricity as a m12 We did the math at the school I teach at. M12 are $0.62/Wh the extended are $0.60 M18 cost $0.65/Wh, a dewalt is only $0.45 but a Bauer is $0.18/Wh and fits with a couple quick cuts with an oscillating tool or angle grinder. Presto. Milwaukee M18, dewalt, Bauer and Hercules (kinda,it slides out). Super easy , works just as good , better battery life , and you save so much money. Not to mention durability of a Bauer 5Ah with Samsung cells running a 12v tool or a weak Ryobi makes the battery last so much longer for half the price!

Works great!!!!
Okay, so I’m an idiot. I found a blower on my Amazon Vine feed that I thought came with the battery and charger only to find out it did not. It used DeWalt batteries for its operation. That’s all well and good except - I’m a Milwaukee man! I have nothing that is DeWalt tools in my vast tool collection. So I thought maybe I can find an adapter to make it work with what I have and found this. It works exactly like you expect. Snap the Milwaukee battery into the adapter and snap the battery and adapter into the device and power it up! Works flawlessly and doesn’t really feel different to use than just using a DeWalt battery. Nice!!! It’s a cheap but decent workaround for a pretty serious issue. If you have the same issue, I highly advise getting this. It works great!!!

Works pretty well most of the time.
I have used it on my drills and impact driver, but I mainly use it on my DeWalt string trimmer with Milwaukee batteries. Generally works pretty well with no loss of out put capacity. I have to occasionally shake or tap the trimmer to reestablish the connection. It seems to break contact here and there. Still better than buying all new tools for Milwaukee batteries or all new batteries for DeWalt tools. It should also be mentioned that it doesn't fit all DeWalt tools. I've tried to use it on my Leaf blower, but it physically will not fit in the cage on the bottom.

I didn't keep mine.
Seems like decent quality but the one DeWalt tool I own did like using the bigger Milwaukee batteries I have. Wound up just just getting a DeWalt battery anyway and didn't need this, but it seemed to be decent quality. Can't tell ya if it was the tool (a pruner) itself or the adapter that was the issue.
