It takes some time to work!!! My two most anxious dogs like to lay near it so i know it’s giving some comfort. There is no smell but the receptacle does get hot to the touch, nothing dangerous. I was getting the collar but it impacted my husky mixes fur, this is less effective than the collar but it does help. I got 60 days worth for $30 and i think thats great!

So we adopted our dog and from day one the min we leave she goes into an anxiety attack where so shivers, will stop eating or drinking till we return whether its 5 min or 4-5 hours, she hyperventilates so much that her whole front side and the carpet she sits on is soaking wet in her saliva. We've tried the basics like calming treats and the more medicated treats, along with some over the counter meds. Nothing works unless you sedate her which we do when we fly international, but for daily use, that's not an option. So someone had recommended this. I had gone to Petco and they've didn't know much about it and the price was 60+ for it. I searched it on Amazon and found it for half the price. So why not give it a try. With high expectations for this diffuser we plugged it in and before judging we gave it a good 1 plus weeks of the diffuser to work its magic. We started noticing new nervous behavior for out dog the min she's noticed we were getting ready to leave....she added new habits to her dealing with us out by pacing and trying to dig her way out of the front door. It might work for others so I can't say it doesn't work but it didn't work for us or for the severe anxiety that our dog has. I wont be buying the refils needless to say.

My vet recommended after my puppy was hit by a truck and was stuck in her crate healing. I can't say it helped but I also can't say it didn't help. Worth the try. No unpleasant oder.

We adopted a little guy a few years ago after we lost our other fur baby to heart failure. Anyway, the new one had been tragically mistreated and completely neglected in his life before he came home with us. He had been kept in a very small kennel, had never been outside, could barely use his legs, didn't know what it was to be petted and loved on because he was neglected so severely.....this poor guy was a mess. What an amazing transformation of my dog! It doesn't make him perfect, but he is completely different. He's not as skittish, not as nervous, scared, anxious and depressed. He sleeps so much better than without this. He still has trouble with loud scary noise, bugs, being alone. But for the most part, he's a completely different dog. With the aid of this pheromone diffuser, the calming collar and some edible items that help him with his behavior issues, he has become a loveable, snuggle Munchkin. I don't use any RX's because of the side effects that can happen. I appreciate the more natural remedies for issues that may arise in life. And he had issues. He still has some, and I think he always will, because he was so traumatized and mistreated in his early life. But he now accepts pets, he loves to be loved on, he's definitely a "VELCRO" dog! I am so thankful that I came across this product and decided to take a chance. I am sure it won't work for everyone's dog's needs, but if you have tried several different things and have had little success, it could behoove you to take a chance on this. Because if it does work, then you will be able to feel better about the quality of life your dog will have. I know that I do. I have faith that these pheromone products help him and when it's time for a new one, about 4 weeks, I can see a big difference in his behavior. So I replace it with a new one and within a few minutes, it begins working its magic and he begins settling down. I always have several of these and several of the calming collars on hand. I don't want to be without them because of the fact that they're working for my little fellow and anything that makes him happy and comfortable I want that for him. He had a terrible life before us and I want to do everything I can to help make sure he has the BEST LIFE EXPERIENCE he can have. And this diffuser and the collar are a part of our life now. I hope you give it a chance because it could be good for your dog too, and isn't that what we all want for our fur babies ❤️?

I’m not sure if it actually works or not, but my dogs like to stand near it and sniff so it’s definitely diffusing something. They do seem less anxious

I got the 30 day supply bottle right around 2.5 weeks ago and it’s already gone. Not to mention my room started smelling smoky almost because it had dried out quicker.I’m also honestly not sure if it actually does anything. Can’t say I’ll be purchasing again.

I learned of this from my vet who has this in every dog room. It really does work! Use this as directed! 1 plug-in is not going to work for your entire first floor open floor plan home! That being said, I will swear by this stuff till my last breath!My pup was exhibiting vestibular symptoms & I believed they were partially being triggered by his terrible anxiety. The very night I plugged this in I began to notice a slight change. Then more and more with each passing day. Coincidence? Maybe. But then the symptoms returned 1 day along with other behavioral changes that concerned me. It dawned on me to check the plug in & sure enough it was bone dry. Still a coincidence? Doubtful.I noticed my pup more calm, more playful & generally healthier emotionally while this stuff is plugged in.The key is to keep it plugged in all the time. Not just when it storms guys.Make sure it’s in the place the pup spends the most time.You may need more than 1 if you’re not in a 900 sq ft condo like I am.This deserves much higher rating than it has. I guarantee people aren’t using it as directed.
