I purchased it to use in my car since I realized I didn't have a spare cable for my phone in there prior.No issues with connecting (charges and transfers data for CarPlay & whatnot), nothing mind-blowing in terms of overall quality for the price, and a good length for my use-case.Just be mindful, as with most electronics, that long exposure to the sun will make it hot-to-the-touch (had to wait for the cord to cooldown before I could charge it one time).Aside from that, it's just a solid purchase overall. Personally I'd find better cables if you're using this daily and/or intensively, but for the car it works just fine.

These cables are so well designed that they will last for a long long time! The USB-A to USB-C connectors are well made, have a great rubber sleeve at the connector and are then a nylon braid covered, heavy duty cable that supports fast charging and fast data transfer. They come in three different lengths so you can select the length that best suits your needs, I went with the shortest as I am using these cable to connect external hard drives to a hub.It is hard to believe that cables of this quality cost this little. I continue to be impressed by Ankers products.

It's true that you get what you pay for. I have purchased several other lower priced, off-brand USB-C cables from Amazon, all of which stopped working after only a few days and would intermittently disconnect. I decided to go with Anker and am very pleased with this brand. While only slightly higher in price, these cables have consistently worked flawlessly with fast charging and no disconnections. I have come to trust Anker products and have purchased many of their products with zero complaints. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle of buying cheap quality knock-off cables from disreputible or "no name" companies and go with Anker. You won't regret it.

So we have been buying Anker products for years and have been very happy with them, but I also love a deal. So when changing around our charging station to better reflect what we currently have, I bought another brand.Don’t get me wrong. They work great too, but I couldn’t get them to work in one room with two of our devices or with my portable chargers (also Anker). They charged my devices quickly and safely.As for our other cables, they still work in other areas of the house and with a teen and a dog, they will get used.For newer electronics, especially USB-C, I definitely recommend sticking with Anker.

We only buy Anker brand cables because they last. They stand up to being wadded up and stuffed in a purse, backpack or suitcase. The Velcro closure helps to keep them neat.We buy the grey/black color to hide dirt and like their fabric like feel. But appreciate that Anker offers color options.They are thicker than cheap, plastic cables and they last longer too. Definitely worth the extra money.
