The Holographic Principle

Loved parts of the music & liked the artwork.
I have most of the Epica albums and loved much of this one too, dynamic sounds!. A wee bit different from previous ones but not much.I've listened through several times in my car. My favourite tracks are 1 by far, also 8,9,10,11,12.I think the start of track 2 is really jarring after track 1, would be far better to have 9 after 1.Contrary to another review, I found the £9.99 album artwork was exactly as shown onlineI've no idea what they are singing about. Maybe in their next album they could sing about some of the ideas in "The Big Picture" by physicist Sean M. Carol on the implications of the Core Theory and quantum mechanics etc. I probably still wouldn't be able to make out the lyrics but at least I'd be able to console myself that there was some sense & reality in there somewhere.

Best Epica Album Yet
This is a brilliant symphonic metal album, although that is to be expected form this band. Songwriting and performances are on the same level as The Quantum Enigma, however this album goes one better in my opinion by having more diversity between the songs, each track having its own unique feel. If you liked any of Epica's past albums, then buy this because it is their best one yet \../

Brilliant album.
Epica are the best. My favourite group. Immensely talented. Simone Simons is incredibly beautiful, with an equally incredible voice.
