I've wanted one of these for a while but thought they were overpriced (Usually around $50 on other sites). I saw this and had to grab it. It is a major time savor when trying to diagnose a TV. It's easy to use - the long wires allow it to reach any part of the TV. It does send electricity through the probes and it will bite if you touch the probes to your skin. I've used it several times and never had a problem with it.

This is very a useful tool. It works great and it’s more affordable than most others I considered buying initially.

I am very satisfied with the diode tester's operation. It tests one or thirty back light diodes It always maintains just the right voltage and amperage to test led's without over driving them. It makes led TV repair much simpler. Highly recommended.

Purchased this item in October 19 2018. I encased it in a Plastic box to protect it from my electronic supply draw. I used it occasional. It works as advertised. Definitely a must if you plan to test TV back lights or test the voltage drop of LEDs. What I like about this tester is that the leads that come with it are flexible and the probes are needle pointed. Easy to get into the tight places also good for piercing wires. I attempted to use today and discovered that it malfunctioned. After doing numerous diagnostic tests I found that the negative Lead (black) apparently has a broken connection between the probe and the connector. It works periodically when I wiggle the wire. This Tester was not abused by me in any manner whatsoever. This tester works well but I suggest that you use more robust test leads.
