Using for Blue Crab traps in Florida
I just started crabbing and was looking for something inexpensive yet decent quality for my traps. I found this rope and decided to give it go. The rope is very durable, easy to knot, dosen't get tangled and easy on the hands. I've used my traps with this rope numerous times over the last few months and I haven't had to replace any of my lengths so far. The bright color also helps with seeing where my traps are set. I highly recommend this rope.

Great Value
Great for my crab pots. I prefer the leaded lines, but this definitely does the trick. This line doesn't tangle much and has plenty of strength. Would buy again.

this is good quality rope i have been using it for my small crab traps and a few bait traps and have had no issues with fraying or with the line becoming brittle or breaking so far i would order again and would recommend this for fishing purposes thanks!

Pretty good stuff for the money.
Okay, you are buying "on the cheap" with this stuff. If you do not need a high quality nor high strength rope, then this will work well for you. I needed some general rope that would not rot in water, and got this. I think it will do well, but will not use it anywhere a good quality rope should be used. You get what you paid for with this - a basic, good, low strength, poly rope, worth what you paid for it. Enjoy.

Perfect crab pot line!
I like crabbing for dungies in 50 - 80 ft of water and if you take account tides, this is the perfect length. I also got a couple extra shanks that I cut up with loops on the ends so if I need to add on a little length, I can do so easily. U certainly recommend this line and more importantly, the Promar crab cage yokes. They hold up the best.

I ordered this crab line because I saw the great reviews for this product. The item arrived today. I just opened it and saw that the rope is already chafed despite being new. I had planned to use it this weekend for a family fishing trip. I am not happy!
