Does this have a seal over the bottle when it's shipped? Mine didn't have anything.

No it does not. The item is shipped as it is received from the manufacturer.

Has anyone found nout what exactly the "inert amorphous powder" is? Trying to make sure it isnt talc or something even more sinister.

This is a safe ear powder used to keep a dog such as poodle' Schnauzer ' Schnoodle 'springer spaniels ears dry after a bath or swimming. It's used to pluck the inner ear hairs from curly coated dogs ears. Been using it for years. helps keep ears dry and reduce odor with this excellent ear powder. Ear Fresh contains Boric Acid and has special tight grip properties for removing hair from ear canals of dogs. Excellent for hand stripping.

Is this product made in the usa? does it have an expiration date?

Yes, it is made in the USA and yes, it does have an expiration. Mine is12-21 and I bought this last year.

What does this stuff smell like? I have another brand that smells awful

It doesn’t really have a scent, and I am very sensitive to all smells.
