Good Supplemental Resource, But Early Errors Raise Concerns
I was excited to begin using this book alongside my 28-hour PMI-ACP training course, as I prefer having a book to reinforce key concepts. Unfortunately, I’ve already noticed two errors in the introduction:1. On page xxvi, the book incorrectly states that "1,500 hours of additional experience" is required. This is not reflected in the official PMI-ACP Exam Content Outline.2. On page xlii, in the Assessment Test, the answer to question 2 is listed incorrectly. The book marks B as correct but provides the explanation for D, which is actually the right answer. These may seem like minor issues, but accuracy is critical when preparing for a certification exam. Given the book's strong claims about its effectiveness, I expected better editorial oversight. I’ll continue using it and update this review if my opinion changes as I work through the rest of the material.

👍🏽✅🤓 Great Study Aid!!
For those of you who are studying for the ACP exam, this book is great! J. Ashley does an exceptional job explaining the different frameworks and relates certain tasks to everyday, relatable tasks. Good study supplement!

I passed my PMI-ACP with this Book....But Used Other Study Material
In addition to using this book in passing my PMI-ACP, I used the following books:1. PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner All-in-One Exam Guide 1st EditionMcGraw Hill and Sybex-Wiley (publishers) have websites where you can retrieve study questions to help prepare. Unfortunately, it is only around 500 combined questions, which I don't find helpful. In my opinion, a person, after awhile, tends to inadvertently memorize the questions. At least that is how my brain works. Therefore, I also recommend the following website, PMTraining.com to help prepare for the PM-ACP along with the following book;1. Agile Practice Guide Paperback ideally in pdf format or kindle as the reviews (on Amazon) regarding ability to read as book are poor. Its a 3 month paid subscription which gives over 900 questions. In my opinion the subscription is worth it as I passed the PMI-ACP on my first try using all three study materials. That said, I would only start the subscription when you are serious and 2-3 months out at taking the exam. Otherwise you may be wasting your time.

this was my primary textbook
I passed PMI-ACP exam today and this was my primary textbook. I also studied Joseph Phillips' online course at Udemy in order to report 21 contact hours required by PMI. I would recommend reading the PMI Agile Practice Guide at least once, although Ashley Hunt's textbook already covered most of the required topics. At the last minute, I purchased a $99 exam simulator (480 questions, 90 days access) to practice how to manage the exam time with realistic/much harder questions and to boost confidence. During the actual exam I took a washroom break at the 1.5hr mark with 80 questions answered, then came back fresh to finish the remaining 40 questions.I believe my experience in taking the CSM, PSM I, and PSPO I exams also helped in my preparations for PMI-ACP.

So-So PMI-ACP Prep Book
Fairly good orep book, but too much emphasis on questions that would never be on a PMI exam.
