I never leave reviews but these bulbs were awful. I purchased 18 of them. They came in three boxes with 6 bulbs per box. 4 out of the first box I grabbed broke easily and all in the same way. The screw base easily snaps off the glass with very little effort. The first one broke while taking it out of the box. Two more broke while getting screwed into the lamp's socket base and the final one broke when being removed from the base. The bases have a very weak connection to the glass. All it took was just a little movement and they snapped off. I made sure not to over tighten and still they broke. At that point I stopped trying anymore. I sell lamps that I build and I can not include bulbs like this for my customers. These are much cheaper than typical Edison Style bulbs and now I know why. It's too bad because they do look great when lit and just as nice when they are not lit. I will be returning all of them and look elsewhere. My advice to the company who makes this; make sure you make a stronger connection between the screw base and the glass globe and then maybe this will be a better product.

These look great, but they are not as sturdy as other bulbs I have used. One broke apart as I was trying to put it into the base. It wasn't even fully tightened and the entire metal base came off in the fixture. Be extra gentle!

I had all but given up on finding this style of light in the candelabra base that was over 40 watts. Suddenly I come upon these on Amazon. They are much brighter than the 40 watt bulbs that they are replacing. They work on my dimmer switch smoothly going from fully off to full brightness. I am using them in an old chandelier in my dining room. They give a lovely warm amber glow even at full brightness.

These just arrived and the first one I screwed into the fixture snapped and now the base is screwed into the fixture. Second seems fine but I’d be really careful . They seem very flimsy.

These are great bulbs and light up a room nicely. 4 stars because the day I installed them on of the bulbs separated where the bulb meets the bottom part. I only needed 5 bulbs so the extra came in handy.

I love these bulbs. They are just the right size for my older chandelier. Provides an "updated" look to the fixture. The bulbs came in a box with each bulb in a box but were packaged in an envelope. My only concern is that one of the bulbs came out of the box loose where the base meets the glass. It works but I don't know for how long.

1 out of the 6 lights worked when they showed up. The metal screw in portion falls off with little force when twisting into the socket.
