Thin plastic mat does not get flat - avoid
My previous mat consisted of thick plastic that allowed my chair to glide. Unfortunately, it cracked, so I bought the "BiMi" mat as a replacement. The BiMi mat does not, however, allow my wheeled chair to move across it at all. The plastic is quite thin (feels cheap) and, therefore, soft. After unrolling it and laying it flat on the ground (which was incredibly difficult), there are "waves" through it. These waves do not allow an office chair to move across the mat without serious effort. The only good thing about this mat is that the "spikes" on the bottom stop the mat from moving on the carpet while I move my chair. I've had it for a few weeks now, and it has not gotten any flatter.

OK
Not perfect but serves its purpose. Very difficult to unroll and lay onto carpet, needs to be weighed down at all edges for some time to ensure that it eventually lays flat. There is a very strong plastic odour which lingers for weeks.

Patience is a virtue.
Bit stiff at the start but once it loosens up a bit its a really good carpet protector. Had my first one for a few years now getting a second one to fit under a bigger desk!

Unfortunate odour!
The mat has a most unfortunate disgusting smell which fills a room. It is also very stiff and difficult to unroll. In addition to return it will cost me £12.98 - DO NOT BUY!
