If you havent kitted out your cot these are a must have.
I wish I had discovered these alot sooner than I have. They are a far safer option than the stuffed bumpers, far easier to put on. No fiddly tying Just velcro on.Someone says on here they need two people to put it on, I did this on my own, just secured one end stretched and secured other end.Tip, get them in white, so you dont have to look at a mismatched cot, this was one pet hate of mine. 2 bumpers that matched 2 sheet sets, however then I had to always buy those colours and found it restrictive, as I like it all yo match. These are white an neutral, you can have any bedding set you like. They are easier to wash dont take up all the space in the washing machine like tradional bumpers. Also once traditional bumpers have been washed they begin to loose their shape. Why someone hasnt come up with velcro fastenings before now I have no idea. I always worried about the tie ons in the back of my mind. Why would anyone want to put their baby in a cot with effectively string littered about. Then there is the safety aspect, no one uses as many bumpers anymore as recommended just the top end.If you have a child who sleeps all over the place its not very effective.Hands and feet stuck in slats. Urgh. These stop that.No its not padded, but I have no issue with my child bumping their head which is rare in a cot. Its not going to kill them, however suffocation does.I just wish I had found these at the beginning, simple idea that works and good quality.

No more trapped arms and legs!
I bought these to stop my baby getting his arms and legs stuck between the bars while he slept. He would often wake himself up by trapping his limbs and hurting himself, resulting in a lot of tears. At first I was concerned about them being too thick to breath through when he rolls and lies his face against the bars. Luckily, they are easy to breath through (yes, I tried it myself!) and they haven't been any problem. They also create a little bit of shade in the cot which is useful for daytime naps.Being plain white, they aren't especially attractive but aren't unattractive either. They would perhaps look better in a white cot but I've stopped noticing them on our dark wood cot anyway. All in all, I'm glad I bought them as we haven't had a trapped limb since we started using them!

Definitely recommend. Safe and secure
Wow, finally back to having a baby sleeping safe and securely. Would definitely recommend. Our 7 month old son was forever waking up screaming as had his arms or legs stuck between the bars of his cot. This could have easily broken his limbs but with these airwraps he has no chance of that happening again. Couldn't recommend enough. Obviously as our son gets older he will learn to push them down to see through the bars again but when he is a sleep it isn't a worry. Thank you

Big disappointment
This was a an epic fail for me. I was eager about the safety feature but I found the fabric very synthetic, rough and stiff. It didn’t fit nicely because it’s impossible to get rid of the fold marks from the packaging. It’s even scratchy to the touch and it’s a shade of white that’s clinical, like blue white, making it very ugly in my pretty nursery. I returned it and went for a cotton one.

Frustrating product and poor quality control.
I don't write many reviews but this thing got me annoyed enough to make the effort. Maybe we just got a dodgy one. It doesn't fit properly to the cot (standard IKEA cot) and bunches up around the stitching. After 20 minutes trying to adjust the Velcro it still wasn't right. I took it off the cot as it started looking like it was just made wrong. When i got it off and just folded it together without the cot the Velcro didn't match up properly. To be fair it would have worked and done what it was supposed to do (thus the extra star) but is quite honestly one of the most frustrating things i have ever bought.

Very Impressed
Very impressed with this product. I needed them urgently as our little one had all of a sudden learned to flip herself over in the cot and get tangled in the bars. I ordered them Sunday night and by Monday morning they had been delivered. The fabric is strong, soft and breathable and the velcro fastening is very simple and easy to get nice and tight. They are sort of padded like a bumper but breathable mesh like a liner so you get the best of both worlds in terms of safety and softness. They also come in a plastic zip bag which is handy for when she sleeps over at the in-laws.

Effective but unattractive.
Effective but unattractive. These do the job of keeping tiny arms and legs from sneaking through the cot bars but they really don’t look very nice. I found that one piece was much easier to fit on to the cot neatly than the other - I think it’s actually quite tricky to get it all lined up perfectly and if it’s not perfect then it’s very wrinkly.

Fab!
I know some people have a high opinion against cot bumpers regarding safety, but the fact that this has no strings - only velcro - which when set up as instructed is very secure. Our baby constantly moves during the night and would often get an arm or leg stuck through a slat, and would wake screaming. Since adding these to the cot he sleeps through the night. The material is soft and breathable. And the design is lovely.
