Pilot Super Color Permanent Marker Refill Ink, Black Ink

Great ink for refilling my refillable markers. The ink itself is EXCELLENT it dries fast and does not run or smear if you give it a couple minutes. Even my shipping labels adhere to it fine. On second order now, will continue to, I use it a lot in covering ads, labels, etc. on reused shipping boxes. Heck, I even use it to cover little wear dings or marks on stuff as it lasts a long time without rubbing off. 5 star!

This review is for PILOT Black Ink Marker Refill: It is exactly what I needed; the ink covered a white PVC surface with one pass and it is truly permanent (see attached images). I tested it on the PVC cap using a small brush, and it covered the surface perfectly without fading on a single pass, so it works perfectly for my project. The bottle is light weight so that can make it tricky to open and risk a spill, so what I did was I placed the bottle firmly on the table but inside a large plastic bag while wearing latex gloves just in case. Then pressing lightly on the bottle against the table surface, I turned the cap slowly and removed it safely without a spill.

Don’t like the shape of the bottle, spilled it all over. Ink is good, refilled a marker, price was ok, costs almost as much as a marker. I did not know how many times it would refill, once with spillage, but I do not know if marker was filled completely. Shipping was quick, color is strong, seems a little watery to me. Marker works well with the ink, bold with strong edges.

Will have this bottle for the rest of my life. I only used about 5 droppers worth and my marker lives again. Huge fan of the option to refill!

Great ink for cheap.

This stuff is great. I am using it to stencil traffic cones, which no paint or stencil ink will stick too. I used about half a bottle inside a small air paint sprayer. I cut the ink with lacquer thinner (about 10:1 thinner to ink) and it still covers nice and dark, dries instantly and sticks to the slick, PVC surface of the cones. It dries so fast it can be a little cloggy but still works quite well in spite.

I didn't even know that I could buy marker refill ink. This is great, and the little dropper tool is really useful so my hands don't end up so filthy. I don't know how many people would generally use enough markers to warrant a refill, but as an artist I think it's great! The ink quality is good, AND I really love how Pilot is making things more economical and environmentally friendly. I can refill my markers for a long time with this bottle which saves me money and saves dozens of plastic pens from ending up in the landfill. I've recommended to other (artists) I know and will continue to use. I am considering buying the refill marker colours as well.
