I purchased this product envisioning to use it on the back edge of my glass-top stand-up desk (that raises up and down). I have a new set up with monitors and a laptop docking station and this power strip was going to be for overflow convenience of plugging in extraneous devices as needed. Unfortunately, it didn't fit on the edge of my desk. Before I ordered, I didn't pay attention to how deep the arm was to clamp the power strip to the edge of the desk, It was off by more than an inch. It turned out okay, though. As I searched for alternate viable places on the desk to place the clamp I found the very bottom metal support bar across where my feet go to be thin enough for the clamp to work. It's not as easily accessible but it's out of the way and still a great accessory for my desk needs. The only drawback is that the USB and C-USB ports, which is the main reason I purchased this surge protector is too far away and some of my devices are not long enough to reach.

Perfect for my work desk! Saves on space and keeps everything well organized.
