I was skeptical but the reviews on this camera was good. I didn’t even hang it up yet but I turned it on. My son is autistic and I just wanted something to keep an eye on him in my back yard if I had to run inside for anything. The tracking is so on point. The night vision is amazing as well as the audio. 4.99 a month for 7 days storage is all I need. It’s very affordable and I love that it tells you the battery % on the app. The set up was also super easy (following along on the app step through step). The app it’s self is really easy to use and I love that it gives notifications for movement and again. The sound quality is so good as well! 10/10. I’m so happy I got the 2 pack for the front and back yard.

Great product! Easy to install and set up. The solar works great, I've never had the battery die since I put it up 2 months ago. It actually knows the difference between people and just random neighborhood activity. Always alerts me and tracks anyone on my property. Works exactly as advertised. 10 of 10 would buy again

We bought our first set of four cameras a year and a half ago because we needed security and didn'twant to go with cameras that require a monthly service fee. They are still performing perfectly. The solar panels keep them charged and the video is clear. We appreciate how accurately they track movement and promtly notify us through the app. These cameras sent notification when we had unwanted people on our acreage. When we replayed the video for the sheriff, the perpetrators were apprehended. We recently bought two more for areas we wanted security. We had an issue with set up with one of the cameras. Customer service were prompt to respond, assisted professionally, and followed up. The cameras, the company, and the customer service have far and above exceeded our expectations! We have highly recommended these cameras to several friends who now have them installed and are equally satisfied.

I bought these two cameras thinking they would connect up with the home base on the two I purchased a few years ago. I found out that they do connect to the Aosu app but they don't connect to the home base I already have. So, that sucks. I also found out that the color night vision is not automatic and continuous like by prior order. The recordings and live cam start out in black and white. After several seconds of recording, they then switch over to color. Not ideal to say the least. I have however experienced good customer service with Aosu. Specifically from Ann who has been very responsive and helpful during this experience. Overall, the cameras are functional, but they could be much better.

It's been a while since we purchased our cameras. We needed something that could keep a watchful eye on our yard and also be able to Pan and tilt around so we could check on the vehicles and side yard. After deciding on the AOSU PT security cameras they arrived quickly and excellently packed. Setup was as straight forward as any typical wireless device with no surprises. Both devices do have a fairly clear path to view the WiFi router, so you should keep that in mind while setting up, but there is a utility in the setup routine that helps to ensure there is adequate signal to the network. The app is easy to install and also straight forward to use. It allows you to utilize one app to manage multiple devices, so that made it easy when I needed to report an issue with one of the cameras. It's spot light function had stopped working. I did some troubleshooting on my own, installed updated firmware and coincidentally the light began to function again but within a few days the light stopped again. I contacted AOSU Customer Service was assisted by Julie. She was very helpful and responsive, with me being the only bottle neck. Once I checked the things she needed checked and provided information requested a replacement camera was sent. It just arrived this afternoon right as she had indicated. I anticipate no issues getting it installed and resuming the function as our backyard night watchman! Both cameras were installed using custom mounts to allow for as much visibility as possible. If it is dark and cloudy for days on end the cameras can begin to get low on battery but are usually able to remain fully charged, even with a giant bird turd smack in the middle of the solar panel as shown in the attached picture (thank you Tweetybird). I would recommend to anyone with similar needs.

This little camera is pretty awesome tho I will say I had a little bit of an issue mounting it. Also at first when I was setting it up I was expecting it to do video and such right off the bat but without a subscription all it does is tracking and snapshots. BUT I will say that the subscription options are worth it and this little camera is a great price for piece of mind! One of the options that it gives is $44 a year which gives you cloud storage so you don’t have to worry about saving the videos and the sd card getting too full. The video quality has settings and it’s pretty good tho night vision can only see a bit into the street and not across the street. The features are so much fun to play with for instance you can manually move the camera around with your phone and zoom in, or even talk with the speaker and mask your voice lol. I have yet to test the battery life but it gives you nice little warnings on what causes it to drain AND came with an alternative way to charge it!

Works perfectly and was easy to set up..Well for me at least you gotta be a bit knowledgeable about WiFi but yea got it mounted on a telephone pole outside my home about 150 feet or so from my Internet box and it still gets a good signal. I also put a bigger SD card in it that hold videos for up to two months lol

I genuinely love the AOSU solar security camera; I'm very impressed! The people tracking works really well and doesn't get triggered by random movement, which I appreciate. The alerts actually make sense. No monthly subscription is a huge plus - the features work without paying monthly fees, though i do wish it came with a micro sd card. The solar charging has been great so far. I haven't had to deal with batteries at all, it just stays charged and running. Setup was easy, the app is simple, and the video quality is super clear. Overall, it's been reliable and hassle-free. Definitely a solid purchase that i would reccomend.

Love the camera, easy to install. Notifications are sent to my phone. Being based in Australia we get plenty of sunlight so the solar panel has no issues.
