This little box is exactly what I wanted. I have been wearing make-up for more years than I am willing to admit to, yet I have never managed to keep it all in one convenient place. Over the years I've stored my make-up in various baskets, bins, and boxes. I've used juice glasses and coffee cups to hold mascara, eyeliner, and lipsticks. Because my make-up was scattered among different containers, I invariably forgot some of it when I traveled. This terrific box brought an end to all that disorganization. What I love about it: 1) A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE. I was able to to organize my makeup neatly by category in the fold-out drawers: foundation, powder, concealer, and blush in the bottom, makeup brushes and tools in the center, eye shadow and mascara in the top. ( I could easily fit two or more lipsticks in the box too, but since I reapply lipstick throughout the day, I tend to keep it in my purse instead.) 2) LINED DRAWERS FOR EASY CLEAN-UP. Each fabric-lined drawer has a sturdy clear plastic cover on the the bottom, which makes wiping up smears and spills a breeze. 3) BUILT TO LAST. I looked at many, many makeup boxes in person before buying this one online, and most of them were too flimsy. This great little box has sturdy metal supports for the drawers, and it folds out nice and straight. The box itself is well-made, with good quality hardware, and the case has some heft to it without being too heavy. I fully expect to get many years of use from this box. 4) STYLE. In addition to being sturdy and practical, the Shany Mini Makeup Train Case is just plain cute. The quilted texture of the metal sides and top adds style and I love the girly pink color I chose. I noticed that some reviewers thought this makeup case was too small, but it is exactly right for me; I wouldn't want it any bigger. I actually keep my skincare items in another location, so I don't need a case that holds every product I use on my skin, just my makeup. I don't wear tons of makeup but do use all the basics: foundation, blush, powder, and eye makeup. If you want a case that holds everything you need to put your best face forward each day, this is the one.

The SHANY Mini MakeupTrain Case was just perfect.... perfectly beautiful and the perfect size for my 5 year old grand-daughter. Basically, the case was well packaged. The only complaint I have is that there was a couple of small scratches in the silver front edge. I do NOT believe this occurred during shipping, as the case was securely wrapped and in adequate packing material and the there were no indentations in the box and no evidence of anything breaking through the packaging. My conclusion is that the minor "scrapes" damage occurred prior to or during the wrapping. I decided to keep and gift the case anyway.... as I am sure that the case would have a few more "scratches" within a short period of time.... and it did. With that said, the SHANY Train Case is quite striking. The purple color and the diamond pattern make the case quite chic. The case is light enough that even when filled with all my grand-daughter's makeup and trinkets she can independently carry the case all around. And so far, the case is standing up to the life of a five year old!

I'm overjoyed with how GORGEOUS it is!!! It is of EXTREMELY high quality and very sturdy! The color and finish are superb! I don't think it's small at all! It is the exact measurements listed in the description and just what I expected! It holds all of my makeup prefectly, and I even have a little room for more! :) The case by itself does not topple over, but if you put too much weight on the the top trays it does start to topple over, so just be smart about it and add more weight in the bottom compartment and it will stay up perfectly fine! The trays hold a lot of stuff, so it is tempting to put more weight on them, and I think that might be the problem the people who complained that the case toppled over had. The mirror is such an added plus to this beautiful train case, too! I added pics so you can see how it looks, and in my last pic I slid my eye shadows to show that they fit 2 stacked up on top of each other perfectly in the tray, I placed 8 eye shadow palettes in that middle tray, plus a concealer and eye brow gel. BRAVO SHANY! I will definitely buy more products from this company and I absolutely give it a high recommendation! I LOVE IT! :D

I'm in my mid-30's but I've never been that into makeup so I was never in need of a case (I usually kept my makeup in a tiny makeup bag.) Recently, though, I've been trying out new makeup and also getting a bunch of freebies so my usual makeup bags were starting to pile up and take more room than was necessary. After doing some quick research I decided to purchase this Shany brand black makeup train case. Here are my thoughts: Pros - The design is beautiful. It looks professional and I love the variety of colors you can choose from. - It's well made; strong and well built. - There are many compartments which makes organizing makeup simple. - The price is good for this product. Cons - It's small so be aware of the measurements. I still don't have anywhere near the amount of makeup the average woman has and even I couldn't get all of my products to fit in this case so make sure you're aware of that before you purchase. - It was tough to figure out exactly which compartment was causing the case to not close properly due to being overstuffed. I didn't even think I put too many products in because I didn't have to jam anything in. But because the compartments fold into each other it's easy to overfill without realizing it. It took several open/shut, remove, open/shut, remove for me to find the sweet spot. As you can see, the "cons" are mostly issues that can be avoided had I paid more attention to the measurements of this case instead of relying on photos. This being my first real makeup case, I can forgive myself of that lapse in consumer due diligence. I'm hoping my review can help others take careful note of the size of this case so they can avoid the "cons" that I posted. Overall, this is a great little case to have. It's beautiful, well-built, and has saved me a lot of room by allowing me to consolidate most of my products into it. I can't believe I lived so long without one. I went from having 4-5 small makeup bags taking space to this one case and one makeup bag (for the products that didn't fit in the case). I'm very pleased.

I really like this! I don’t have a lot of makeup, i would say less then the average person. I dont have a lot of eyeshadow or anything pretty much just the basics. The case fit all my makeup, plus the makeup i dont use everyday, (eyeshadow, lipsticks) so that it doesnt have to lurk around my cabinets anymore! I wanted something small to replace my small cheap 3 drawer makeup storage from walmart. The case is super sturdy, looks great in person, its not too big or too small, and I love that it has a mirror if you have to do your makeup on the go, instead of holding a little mirror up to your face and only having one hand available. I recommend this for the average makeup wearer! If you have a lot of makeup, dont do it. I though my little of makeup wouldnt even fill the storage but it did.

Super cute and seemed nice and durable. However the handle broke within the first week of getting it and it's not fixable. Also, it's very hard to use the mirror because you kind of have to sit far back from it, so not good for needing to get upclose.

I bought this for my girlfriend so she would have to use several smaller boxes to keep all her make-up and applicators in. She loves it and says it's the "perfect depth to keep everything in while still folding closed, plus the built in mirror is of a usable size." Her words. The materials seem study and the finish on the edges isn't scratching or peeling off. The case itself looks pretty small in the pictures, but it opens like a tackle box, with lots of folding shelf space to keep a lot of items organized and stored safely. The pictures don't do it justice with regards to how much it can carry. And, it's easily small enough to slide into a small shelf space or under the bathroom sink in a cabinet.

I love my train case! I don’t wear that much makeup, so sometimes I’m able to put more than just makeup in my case. I also put jewelry in mine when traveling. It’s just too cute and I couldn’t pass it up when I saw it and I know you won’t be able to either.
