Works great, popped up well
Puffed well, easy to make. I wanted to try popovers. This kit worked well, popped nicely. My wife made fun because I used a mix, but th experience was positive enough that I bought three mixes and used them all. We bought a special popover pan on Amazon which worked well, but I bet a muffin tin would do the job too, if prepared correctly (pan needs to be hot and oily) it's all about the puff. The popover flavor is good too. Making them from scratch sounds easy but complicated enough to warrant an new mix. My goal is to make popovers, I need less stumbling blocks, I'm off to buy another mis right now. See you at check out.

I used to make popovers from scratch but this is just as good. It's so easy and really delicious. I especially like the portioned boxes.

Delicious popovers
I know I can make popovers from scratch but this Stonewall Kitchen recipe is wonderful. No need to do anything other than follow the directions on the box. Pre-heating the pan is critical and as a recommendation it is worth investing in a heavy metal popover pan.

Good Popovers on the First Try
I'd never made popovers before, and I was pleased with how simple this box mix made it for me to learn how. They turned out crisp on the outside, moist inside, and just like popovers I've had in good restaurants on the east coast. Just a word of caution: Don't overfill the cups. The popovers look great outside, but they are too big to be completely done on the inside in the time allowed. And if you leave them in to cook longer, they get too dark on the outside. The directions say to fill each cup 3/4 full. I was over a bit on the first batch. This left me enough to full each cup a bit more than 1/2 full. This batch came out perfect. The box makes 12 regular-sized popovers.

Wonderful
This is a very nice popover mix for those who want to take out a bit of the fuss. I found them to compare favorably to my from scratch recipe and think it a good value. Functional and easy to use, I would buy this again for a nice brunch or tea with some jam.
