I bought the book for extra practice work for my kid who just started learning fractions in school.I love how beginner friendly this is. This is great practice work and advances to the more complicated ones but not too tricky for the little ones. (Or parents, lol) It also has the answer key! Highly recommend this book!

I like this book. I bought it for my 3rd grader when he was struggling with fractions. Each section really breaks things down and he became much more confident by the end of the week

My 2nd grader loved this book - she was doing pages for fun! She finished it quickly because the problems were easy to understand and great for beginners.

My 8 year old says she "hates math" because the rote math practice at school is boring. But, her teacher said she needed extra practice at fractions. This workbook is visually oriented and the activities seem more like the activity books she otherwise likes, rather than the worksheets she gets from school. When I got the book and told her we were going to work in it, she groaned. Then she looked inside, grabbed it out of my hands, and spent 45 minutes doing page after page in the book. Her verdict: "It's like an activity book, not a math book!" and "I like fractions!" As a parent I was impressed in how the workbook breaks down learning about fractions into step by step skills which kids conquer one at a time. My daughter was neither overwhelmed nor bored. This is the first math workbook she actively enjoys. I will be buying more.

I like it. Good review layed out in sequential, common sense manner. I also like how it uses the number line to locate fractions. Expands the mind. I recommend buying it for extra parent help at home.
