3 in duct fan workes well with Hobby laser for venting outside
Variable speed and a standard 3 inch inlet/outlet, relatively quiet. I purchase with a 3 inch outdoor vent and hose/ clamps to vent an XTool S1 Laser. The base of the fan has mounting bracket / holes so you can mount it to a wall / workbench / framing. Fan works quite well at pulling the smoke from the laser cutting and sending it outside.

Easy setup works in Conjunction with cooling switch when dryer heats up it activates exhaust fan when it cools off switch cuts off.

The build quality is good. I got this to improve my ventilation on my laser. My set up is a 3 inch exhaust and this fit perfectly.

Very quiet
I'm using this for a laser engraver/cutter exhaust. It's much more powerful than the one that came with the laser, and very quiet! So far, so good!

No bueno
Tried to use it to push heat through the long duct runs and I guess the inner fan expands when it gets hot and rubs inside, making it squeal really loud.... never again

Weak, pay attention to the air movement capacity
I bought this fan on the recommendation from some other users as a good way to enhance the ventilation from my laser engraver. I am pretty disappointed with the result. Apparently this fan is only rated for 75 CFM (I should have researched before I bought) which is horribly anemic for any form of ventilation. Instead of being stronger than the stock ventilation fan in the unit it is actually weaker. Definitely did not work for this application.
