Works perfectly!
Used this to add an audio connection to my laptop dock. Works like a charm getting audio from the dock to a pair of small desktop speakers.

Works great
Anyone that has a recent MacBook "Pro" will know that it is poorly supported with I/O connections. I'm gonna say it: USB-C sucks. But I'm committed now so away to Amazon for another 'dongle', just to get some standard functionality back to my 'high-end' purchase. This little box does what I needed it to do, without any hassle. Plugged it in, connected a Sound Board output and was recording audio into Audacity in no time. Straightforward and works as expected.

A Quick and Reliable Fix for Missing Headphone Jacks
I’ve been upgrading my everyday carry tech recently, moving over to a newer phone and laptop combo. Like most modern devices, they completely ditched the built-in 3.5 mm aux jack, which left my favorite pair of wired studio monitor headphones sitting uselessly in a drawer. I didn’t want to shell out a fortune for a high-end desktop DAC just to listen to audio on my lunch breaks, so I picked up this CableCreation Type C External Sound Card to bridge the gap. My main expectation was straightforward: I wanted a durable, plug-and-play adapter that would give me a stable, static-free connection for listening to music and jumping on quick video calls. It mostly met my expectations for a simple utility tool, though it has a clear limitation depending on how you plan to use it. The design is highly practical. The aluminum casing feels solid and pairs nicely with a modern laptop or iPad. The standout feature is its dual-input layout: it has a dedicated pink jack for a standalone mono microphone and a black jack that handles standard headphones or unified TRRS headsets with built-in inline mics. Sound playback quality via the built-in DAC chip is perfectly clean, delivering a nice, full frequency range with good bass response and zero annoying background hiss when listening to music or streaming podcasts. However, there is a distinct drawback on the input side. If your goal is to use this as a recording interface for an external microphone, you might be disappointed. During mic tests, while the voice range is clear, the adapter introduces a noticeable amount of background electrical noise into the recorded track. It’s totally fine for casual Zoom meetings or chatting with your team in a game, but it isn't clean enough for high-quality voiceovers or music production. Note that it also won't work well with Apple EarPods mic inputs. For the price, the value for money is very reasonable. You get a well-built, pocket-sized external sound card that effortlessly revives your legacy wired gear without requiring any complicated driver installations. It completely satisfied my need for everyday audio playback, making it a reliable, budget-friendly choice for simple, on-the-go utility.

Instant plug and play with Apple iPhone. Make sure you use TRS connectors. Worked perfect for recording in-ear mix.

Overall good, but low quality components
I've decided I'm keeping it, even with the quality issue, so I'm giving it 3 stars. I got this adapter so I can use my Galaxy S22 Ultra with an analog earphone set. I'm finding a "clicking" sound on the TRRS jack (the jack you'll use for a headset with a built-in microphone). It appears to be the quality of jack itself is not the greatest. But, for the price, and considering it works well enough when using the separate mic jack, I'll keep it. If you want to hear what the clicking sound is like, then listen to the sample video I've added to this review.

Cheap Garbage.
Input audio didn't work. Had a slight static buzz and a -55db voice catch. The output you might ask? My right-ear played audio and my left ear didn't. Cheap garbage, completely useless.

Unexpected Performance... Buy this if you own a MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Apple anything!
I ordered this a while ago but finally got around to using it after I started using Amazon Music's HD streaming through their app. On my 2017 MacBook Pro, the audio output level to external devices such as my AKG K371 headphones has been just okay. After plugging in this easy to use device and giving it a go, I am floored at the amazing sound quality and audio reproduction. It is levels above what comes stock on my MacBook Pro, and I recommend you get it if you're a audiophile! Listening to Fred Again - Marea (We've Lost Dancing) and the highs and lows are faithfully reproduced in its marvelous pro level sound quality! I did a little test to confirm I'm not hearing things so I switched back to my internal output on the MacBook Pro. The comparison is so striking and this product provides the best value for money on the market. I feel like I'm hooked in to an expensive external audio controller! So happy right now....HAPPY!!!

Works with iPad 4 Air.
Received it today. Outer cover of extreme good quality. Inserted the USB C Port into iPad Air 4 and the 3.5mm Jack of the Headphone into the Black socket. Works like a charm and the sound quality is just about outstanding. Thanks CableCreation for this and Amazon, as always, for a fine delivery experience.

Adaptateur efficace
Je viens de le recevoir. Fonctionne bien avec mon micro Rode SmartLav Plus, sans dépendre d'une prise micro. A voir dans la durée.
