Great for home or Office: Colour laser printer with duplex feed, scanner, copy and fax (and wifi!)
No more dried out ink cartridges... This multi function colour laser printer is very approachable to use, very easy to set up in a home environment, but is also office capable (menu option on first start). The machine is probably overkill for our needs but I really had got fed up of dried out ink jet heads and cartridges, so a colour laser machine was the way to go. It is quite tall due to the duplex paper feed and scanner on top, so consider where you are going to place this item. It feels hefty and the unit has some weight to it (NOT a flimsy item). It connects to USB and has an ethernet port (neither cable supplied, but a Fax lead and a UK and US power lead were included). I connected both and they both work very well. A wifi network capability (via access point or Wifi Direct) means ipads, android and PC's / Macs can all print or scan using this machine. A web interface on the machine, makes setup very easy. On Windows 10 the printer drivers loaded themselves with no interaction from me and offered to install an app to help with scanning (inc and OCR feature - not tried that yet). On OSX / Macintosh, you need to be aware of the fact that the driver is provided but no apps are on the DVD that accompanies the printer. {Update} On Mac Catalina, scanning can be accessed via the 'system preferences / printers and scanners menu. Even the duplex feed is supported. Be aware that you may need to select the correct printer driver in order for scanning to be available to you. As I say, Windows 10 has software in buckets. If your first language isn't English, a number of plastic templates are supplied to replace the English wording around buttons / the display. Printerland delivered this M5521cdw in under 24 hours from ordering. This was very impressive.

Simple, fast, reliable. No jams so far
Great printer, does everything and has duplex unit. WiFi connection ability makes this simple to use though putting WiFi code in is a pain and printer can forget it sometimes

Easy to use.
Good print quality, easy to set up and use. Ink very expensive, so expected it to last longer than it did. I printed just over a standard pack of paper and ran out of black ink. Maybe that's just because that was what came with it and it isn't supplied with a full cartridge. Apart from it's great.

Very happy with this printer, was easy to setup, print quality is excellent, can print easily from my phone or laptop using wireless network. Would recommend

The worst printer we have ever had!!!
As a business owner this is not the printer you want to have!! Toner Cartridges for this printer are a fortune and do not last a crack, imitation cartridges available but that stops the printer working altogether!! DO NOT BUY Kyocera. We are back to the faithful Brother Printer and can't believe how quick, cheap, painless and easy it is along with 10 times better quality printing. We depend so heavily on printing and there will never be another Kyocera product through our doors! It would have 0 Stars from me, ours is on the way to recycling after ONLY 6 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! Such a waste of money and effort

Simple et efficace.
Achetée pour des impressions en nombre, je suis satisfait de la machine. Livrée très rapidement, super protégée dans son carton d'emballage, et super lourde aussi . L'installation se fait rapidement, branchée par câble, également reliée au réseau, mise en chauffe rapide, tout s'est bien passé. Il y a tellement d'options sur ce modèle que le mode d'emploi téléchargé fait plus de 400 pages. Pour le moment, je me contente des options de base qui me sont utiles, je verrai plus tard pour les autres, par curiosité. J'ai apprécié le fait de pouvoir mettre les indications des touches en français en changeant facilement le plastique du tableau de bord. Rapide, simple dans ses fonctions basiques, je suis ravi de cet achat. Prix très raisonnable, marque reconnue, solidité ont guidé mon choix sans prendre vraiment beaucoup de risques. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Great quality laser printer.
Arrived a little late however it is a fantastic printer. GUI takes a little getting used to but the print quality, speed and price makes up for it. Very happy so far. Also not the best for duplex however it's about half the price of a full duplex. The only real downside is no touchscreen.

Excellent Pinter/Copier/Scanner.
This is office workstation is awesome. I am not even using it to its full potential. Very easy to use with all laptops, iPads, and cell phones. 600 dpi for photo scanning might not be enough for some people, but so far good enough for me. I like having all of our family's important life documents and having them organized and easily accessible on a secure cloud service.

Habe ihn erst seit heute...
Finde das Gerät ziemlich gut. Macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, viel Drucker füs Geld. Zumindest auf meinem MAC war das Einrichten überhaupt kein Problem (Der Teufel steckt im Detail, siehe unten), haben eventuell nur WINDOWS User. Über WEB-Interface konfigurierbar, wahnsinnig viele Einstellmöglichkeiten. Verstehe ich zum großen Teil nicht, der Drucker funktioniert aber trotzdem. ;-) Ein Stern Abzug wegen: 1) Große Fotos scheinbar nicht druckbar ohne Speichererweiterung. 1GB (max) kosten 1/4 vom Anschaffungspreis des Druckers! Geht eigentlich GAR NICHT! Habe das Foto auf eine Breite von 1600 Pixel verkleinert und es wurde perfekt gedruckt. Manko 2) Kein Scan über das Netzwerk! Manko 3) "Scan2Ordner" nicht für MAC! NACHTRAG 1: Noch einen Stern Abzug: "Kyocera Printer Panel.app" bleibt leer unter OS X 10.13.3!! Installer hat scheinbar eine Macke, weil der UNINSTALLER keine Installation findet, obwohl Treiber installiert sind (siehe Foto). NACHTRAG2 : Auch hier bin ich weiter: Wenn der Drucker als "STANDARD" übers Netzt installiert wird, geht es nicht. Er muss als "IP" und "Line Printer Demaon - LPD" konfiguriert sein! Dann wird er auch vom "Kyocera Printer Panel.app" gefunden. Ferner konnte ich so über das Netz problemlos das Foto ausdrucken, welches vorher mit einem Druckerfehler scheiterte. Ob das am HOST-Rechner jetzt auch funktioniert habe ich noch nicht versucht. Da es nun doch geht ein Foto problemlos zu drucken, wieder einen Stern dazu. NACHTRAG 3: Keine Ahnung wer das war, vermute APPLE (update), aber jetzt geht auch scannen übers Netz mit meinem macBook. Stern Nr. 5! Da ich "nur" Heimanwender bin, behalte ich den Drucker. Gutes Druckbild und wertige Verarbeitung. Die Treiber werden hoffentlich noch aktuallisiert.

Impresora sólida de buena calidad
Silenciosa, rápida, impresión nítida. La calidad de impresión es excelente, incluso en color sobre papel normal, tiene muchísimas funciones, el papel sale perfecto, sin una sola arruga. El uso básico es muy intuitivo. Solo le encuentro dos inconvenientes: el tamaño (es muy voluminosa) y que más allá del uso básico, es complicadilla de utilizar. De momento me parece que he hecho una compra excelente.
