This is one of the mellowest, most harmonic CD's I've heard. Most meditation cd's feel cliche or synthetic but Deva's voice is warm and full of heart. I listen to iit often and never get tired or bored with the melodies. They reach inside and awaken soul and spirit in a fresh, gentle way that lives on all day. This get an unequivical 5 stars .

This album is the most beautifully composed CD I have heard yet from Deva Premal! If you have a seed of gratitude in your self anywhere it will be touched by it. It is also artfully composed. This is , so far, my very favorite!

Not being one for slow, gentle music, I was surprised how much I love this CD. Deva Premal was introduced to me on my cable tv's music channel. When I first heard it, the sound went straight to my heart, and I've been a fan ever since. I listen to this cd whenever I need to calm down or cheer up. When I play it in my car, it completely prevents road rage. This music is pure magic.

This CD has what I think are some of the most beautiful chants/songs Deva and Miten have ever produced. I play it over and over, and it puts me in a prayerful, meditative state each time. Sometimes, I will play a favorite chant again and again, so I can have it playing in my mind all day as a kind of guide. Each one is more beautiful than the last, although my favorite will always be this version of "Om Namah Shivaya," which was played on the 21-day meditation series of the Mentors Channel. For those who love music, this selection has just enough Western influence to draw you in, with enough Eastern mysticism to bring peace to your spirit. Definitely one of the best additions I've made to my collection.

Nice but not a standout.

Even though there is not an English Translation included with deva premal music, still there are great rewards waiting for all who need their brains to relax and just by listening to this type of spiritual inspiration. No matter what age of your brain, all can learn such healing words for the human body. And the body and brain responds to the healing energy that flows from this woman through her music.

I love this music! I listen to it every single morning as I'm getting ready for work and sing to the chants....which are a type of meditation for me. It clears my head to begin my day peacefully and without all the racing thoughts of all that I need to get accomplished on deadline. I higjly recommend this music, especially for anyone who believes they would benefit from adding more peace to their life.

I love Deva Premal, and this album is no exception. Beautiful voice, beautiful melodies, beautiful mantras. And not as new-agey/synthesized as some of her other stuff, which I like.

Ich bin mit dem Kauf dieser Cd sehr zufrieden.Eine herrliche Stimme und wunderbar entspannend wenn man z.B massiert/ massiert wird.Wurde auch sehr oft angesprochen, was das für eine angenehme Musik ist.Ich selber kann sie auch gut mehrere Male am Tag hören ohne genervt zu sein.Wirklich sehr gut.

I have several of Deva's CD's as her voice is absolutely heavenly! I listen to this CD on an almost daily basis during meditation or just "quiet time" If you're looking for something soothing, inspiring and/or meditative in nature, this CD won't disappoint!

デーヴァ・プレマールさんとミテンさんの大ファンです。 ともすると宗教音楽になりがちなマントラの旋律を 私達一般人にも馴染みやすいように旋律を現代音楽的にアレンジされているので、聖なるマントラの音に自然と親しめます。 ただ、マントラを唱えるジャパ礼拝を志す方には イントネーションがかなり違うので、正統なバンディットの方の朗読されたCDを買われることをお勧めします。 現代音楽的と言っても芸術的にも優れていますので、ヒーリングミュージックとしても活用出来ます。 一般的なCDと比べノイズが少ないので、 クリアな音を楽しめます。 お二人の代表作はガーヤトリー・マントラの入った「エッセンス」ですが、こちらのCDはお二人の祈りが更に深く結晶化した作品が多く、円熟味を感じさせます。 買って良かったです。

Deva Premal are faultless and this album is a personal favourite, which I gifted to a friend for their birthday and they loved it just as much as me! A delightful album with powerful healing mantras and sounds. Whether you are familiar with these mantras or not the music and singing is so beautiful, you will still connect with the power of it's presence and be soothed by the sounds.
