Idemitsu ATF Type TLS-LV (WS) Transmission Fluid – 1 Qt, Case of 12

After reading several reviews and Toyota forums, I opted to use this ATF as opposed to the traditional Toyota/Lexus WS, for a drain and fill on my 5th Gen T4R. It’s less expensive, and has worked flawlessly. Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear is noticeably smoother, and after 500 miles, I’ve experienced zero issues. As others have stated, this is a world standard lubricant, used as a manufacturer default in most Japanese automobiles.

No problems in my 07 camry with 5 speed auto. I appreciate the value of the five quarts, and the ease of use. Regular replacement oil. Probably the OEM supplier. However I keep seeing references to it being synthetic. It's not synthetic. The word synthetic is no where on the bottle, or the product information page. If the word synthetic was allowed to be printed, it certainly would have been.

OEM style fluid researched the company and product before application. Have run the fluids for 20k now haven’t had a slip or hesitation on hill climb pulling a trailer up or down hill nice cherry red color. Would definitely recommend to major ATF brands I believe in my opinion to be better then.

Used this product in my 2011 Rav 4 fwd for a fluid/filter change taking in account other reviews, and the product description (WS compatible). While my transmission didn't have any noticeable issues with shifting, the car itself is new to me and I didn't see anything related to the transmission in past service records. After my work was completed I noticed my transmission does indeed shift a whole lot smoother than before!

This fluid is like the original Toyota fluid except cheaper!

In case anyone has any doubts, This is fully compatible with Toyota WS! Idemitsu decided to replace their non-syntheric Toyota OEM ATF, with the TLS-LV which is 100% compatible with WS, but is fully synthetic with better oxidation stability, viscosity, and TC/Clutch slippage! Flushing the ATF in my 2013 Lexus ES at 64K miles was a night & day difference! The WS factory fill was very dark, and the transmission was getting jerky & had TC lock-up shudder! After flushing with the TLS-LV, the shifting is smooth as butter & no more TC shudder! Amazing results & highly recommended!!! I'm sure this ATF will hold up better than OEM for 60K miles. Don't waste your $$$ on Amsoil!

DIY on my Toyota RAV4. I replaced the transmission filter, gasket, and Idemitsu ATF Type TLS-LV (WS) fluids. They work well so far.
