Unfitting pedals
I was either given wrong pedals or faulty ones that are impossible to put in

Probably the best out there!
So, I’ve been using the Peloton Bike for a bit now and I can honestly say it’s one of the best fitness products I’ve ever used, and I’ve had a lot in my time. From the moment it arrived, the quality of the bike really stood out. It’s incredibly solid and well built, with no wobbling or creaking, even during intense standing climbs and sprint sessions. It really feels like a premium piece of gym equipment rather than something designed purely for home use, and I’m a pretty heavy user at 17st and it’s held up really well. The ride itself is exceptionally smooth, with the magnetic resistance providing seamless adjustments throughout each and every workout. The seat and handlebars are easy to adjust, making it simple for different members of the household to find a comfortable riding position. Once everything is dialled in, it’s comfortable enough for longer sessions while still giving you a challenging workout, although riding a bike again after not using one for a long time does take a bit of getting used to. The standout feature for me is undoubtedly the interactive experience. The touchscreen is nice and bright, responsive and really easy to navigate, and the range of classes available means there’s always something to suit your mood or fitness level. Whether you’re looking for a quick 20 minute ride before work or a demanding endurance session, there’s an enormous library of workouts available. The instructors are engaging without being over the top, and they do a great job of keeping you motivated throughout each class you choose. I also really like how detailed the workout metrics are. Being able to track cadence, resistance, output and progress over time adds another level of motivation, and seeing your improvements week after week genuinely encourages you to keep coming back. The leaderboard can be surprisingly addictive too if you enjoy a bit of friendly competition. Another thing that really impressed me is just how quiet the bike is. Even during high resistance sessions, it produces very little noise, making it ideal if you’re exercising early in the morning or late in the evening without disturbing the rest of the house. The Peloton ecosystem is clearly very well thought out as you would expect it to be. Beyond cycling, there are strength, stretching, yoga and recovery sessions available, making it much more than just an exercise bike. It feels like having a full fitness studio available whenever you want it, without leaving the house. While the bike is undoubtedly a significant investment, the build quality, performance, technology and overall experience justify the price in my honest opinion. It’s made exercising far more enjoyable and, more importantly, far more consistent because I actually look forward to using it. If you’re serious about improving your fitness from home and want a premium indoor cycling experience, I can highly recommend this Peloton Bike. It has exceeded my expectations in every way possible and has quickly become one of the most used pieces of equipment in our home garage gym. Easily a 5 star product for me!

A premium exercise bike that's worth the investment
After spending quite a bit of time with the Peloton, I can honestly say I'm really impressed. From the moment it arrived, everything felt premium. The first thing you'll notice is the size and weight of the box. This thing is seriously heavy. I would definitely recommend having a second person available to help move it into the house and get it into the room where you want it. Trying to wrestle it on your own isn't something I'd fancy. My daughter helped me, reluctantly... Unboxing was straightforward. Everything was well packaged with plenty of protection, and all the parts were clearly laid out. Nothing felt cheaply thrown into the box, and it gave a really good first impression. If you have cats, they will be in dreamland with the boxes. Ours wouldnt leave for hours. Assembly was much easier than I expected. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and all the tools you need are included. Most of the bike is already assembled, so you're really just attaching the stabilisers, screen, handlebars and pedals. I took my time and had it built in around 30-45 minutes without any problems. Once it's set up, the quality really stands out. The bike feels incredibly solid with no wobble at all, even during harder rides. The resistance is smooth and quiet, and the large touchscreen is bright, responsive and easy to navigate. The classes are where Peloton really shines. The instructors are genuinely motivating, and there's such a huge variety that it's difficult to get bored. It's much easier to stay consistent when you've got someone pushing you through the workout. A couple of things are worth knowing before you buy. Some of the promotional photos show the weights and water bottle, but these aren't included. It wasn't a huge issue for me, but it's something to be aware of. It also comes fitted with Look Delta clipless pedals, which require compatible cycling shoes. If, like me, you prefer riding in normal trainers, it's easy enough to swap the pedals for standard flat ones, which is exactly what I did. Good bits Excellent build quality Straightforward assembly with clear instructions Most of the bike comes pre-assembled Smooth, quiet ride Fantastic classes and instructors Premium touchscreen Easy to swap the pedals if you prefer normal trainers Less good It's incredibly heavy, so you'll definitely want someone to help move it. The weights and water bottle shown in some images aren't included. The supplied pedals require Look Delta-compatible shoes unless you replace them. The Peloton membership is expensive. You can still use the bike without it using the Free Ride mode, and there are a handful of free workouts included, but to get the full experience you'll need a subscription, which is definitely something to factor into the overall cost. Overall, this feels like a genuinely premium piece of fitness equipment. The unboxing experience, build quality and ride all justify the price, and it's already become one of the most-used bits of equipment in our house. If you're serious about getting fitter at home, it's an investment that's well worth making.
