Updated review: After posting this, Govee reached out and offered a full refund of the product which was greatly appreciated. At some point during my troubleshooting between the original review and their message, I must have managed to factory reset the lights and they appear to be working again. We've had good luck for at least the past 2 weeks and the kids love them. As I said before, they're great lights, albeit a bit too bright at the lowest power setting, that's a minor complaint since they belong on a tree and not attached above a bed. All the same, I didn't accept the refund but I'll be ordering a second set of these in the coming weeks. Customer service reaching out so quickly encouraged me to buy some additional Govee products so I'll also be trying their table lamp and some RGB strip lights to go with it. Absolutely recommend these to anyone wanting some unique and great quality lights for their tree or house.Original review: I ordered these to be installed above the bottom bunk of a bunk bed. My kiddo loves them, the various scenes, etc. They're bright, maybe too bright for my use case, even at 1%, but they'd be perfect on a tree. Overall they feel like a good quality product with a well developed app, easy integration with Google Home and Amazon Alexa both. Expensive, but you get a really nice quality product for the money.One quirk though... After updating the lights, they no longer turn off. I can adjust brightness and scenes, but they just flicker off for a quarter of a second and then kick back on. The only way to turn them off is to unplug them. I haven't gotten to a point of resetting them but I'll get there. I suspect they'll end up working fine after, or I'll have to return them. I hope that it doesn't come to that but we'll see

The media could not be loaded. I've been in love with Govee ever since I bought their hexagon panel lights and have been collecting more of their products ever since. These are bright enough to see during the day and stunning at night, true RGBIC, great representation of colors. AND I fully intend on keeping these up all year. The clear strand makes them practically invisible when they're not in use. The app takes less than 5 minutes to set up, and honestly excellent value for how much these cost. I have these, the hexagon lights, and a 20' LED strip.You can sync these to work together, or behave independently, react to music, set for a certain time of day, or even program them to turn on when you come home if you connect them to Google home. Honestly in love with Govee.

I have been on the hunt for Christmas smart lights that I can use more than just Christmas time.Durable- They seem durable when I rilled them out. I love that they aren’t twisted in a way that they will “untwist” and be annoying. They have even held through my cat biting them while I was setting up the app.App- Probably the best app I have worked with. I have only had them up a day, but I love all the features. A lot of scenes to choose from, I M really impressed. You can pick a scene, set it to music, set it to game mode (Way to go Govee!), and even a DIY function to create your own scene. I am really impressed.Brightness- I feel it has ample brightness and the 1% for low light is par for the course. I wouldn’t put them up in a room to sleep it. There is 33ft of lights, doesn’t matter if they are at 1% or not, they will still give off too much light for me to sleep with. Just my opinion.I am so impressed that I am going to buy more for Christmas presents!

The media could not be loaded. Each individual light can be programmed of for some reason the enormous menu of preprogrammed effects don’t suit your fancy. I bought this and a different set at the same time thinking I would save money for the smaller tree that only needed a basic lighting scheme. I immediately regretted not buying a second Govee light strand. I will say that my pastel gradient rainbow tree is lighter so the translucent and white/silver string wires blend in well. I did not search of there was a darker option for a normal tree. However- I can see easily tucking this deeply into the branches to hide the wires and still hav an amazingly stunning and vibrant lighting show for any kind of tree. Once Christmas is over these will be a permanent addition to our open space living room and kitchen area. I’ve told everyone I can about Govee and will continue to do so. I’m not paid- not an influencer- just some lady that usually buys the wrong thing and this time really got the PERFECT thing. I would also like to say that the app is fantastic, the tree works well with Alexa and you can even use Alexa to tell the lights what effect you want them to do. Now for the downside- you’re going to waste a LOT of time sitting and staring at these with your mouth open in awe- and by you I mean your whole family. I think we have just watched the tree for hours at this point.

I have a few govee products already and wanted to add these to the collection. They work great, look great and are easy to use. They have plenty of presets that are good for most occasions and can be easly be customized. Ive had one set outside for almost a year now and they are on almost every night and ive had no durability issues. Govee has been great for us. No major issues, and when something came up it was handled right away

Top Lights Around Hands Down!! They Have The Best Options And The Absolute Best Looking Lights On This Planet!! Love The Different Themes You Can Run On All Govee Lights!! Only Thing I Wish They Would Do Differently Is Make It So Not Only The a RICH Can Afford Govee Lights Or The Person Goes Broke Trying To Have Govee Lighting- You Can Still Make Millions And Not Have To Pound Everyone’s Wallets And Then Govee would Have Even More Support Than They Have Right Now!! But The Lights Themselves Will Blow Many Many Different People’s Minds🤘
