Good value replacement
This plate works perfectly with my manfrotto quick release tripod/head. I use that tripod with two cameras and have been switching my existing plate between the cameras every time I needed to swap cameras. Since picking up this plate it has remained on one of my cameras and works perfectly. The threads on the mounting screw are smooth and it tightens down well. In terms of use with the quick release system of my tripod, it works flawlessly - just as well as the plate that the tripod came with. It makes a secure connection and I cannot fault it, especially at the current price (£7.99).
