Will this fit small dessert wine bottles? (500ml)

Hi - thanks for your question. We haven't tried the Huski Wine Cooler with a small dessert wine bottle. However, the fit all depends on the height and diameter of the bottle. To ensure a good fit we recommend the diameter of the bottle be no less than 65mm and a minimum shoulder height of 200mm. The maximum bottle diameter that will fit in a Huski Wine Cooler is 90mm and has a maximum shoulder height of 240mm. For reference, the shoulder height is measured at the point at which the bottle has a diameter of 65mm. I hope this helps :)

Does it fit traditional taller German/Alsace Riesling style bottles?

Yes it fits that taller slimmer type of bottle and the rubber part of the top part forms a perfect seal.

Does this come with the bag shown in the product description? Where it says "Stay-dry design" As it would be very handy with the carry handle.

Hi there, the Huski Wine Cooler does not come with a carry bag. The design is described as 'stay-dry' because due to the double wall and vacuum insulation no condensation builds up on the outside of the cooler so hands and tables don’t get wet. I hope this helps :)

Hi, i notice that it has a voltage of 5v.,.....why? does it plug in somewhere? recharge? i can't see anything to suggest that you have to plug it in

Gosh, I certainly didn’t see anything about any voltage! It is not electric - it is simply an insulated container that you put a cold bottle of wine in and it stays cool for a reasonable length of time. I have two, as they work really well. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.
