Impressive
Amazing head from Evans. The frosted coat give a great attack but still has a warm feel. Great tone

They're frosty, man!
Wow, these are seriously good drum heads. With a bit of tuning they have made my cheap and nasty kit sound like a much more expensive instrument. Even tuned quite high they a deep sound to them, perfect for rock and blues. Consider me converted.

Doesn't say on listing they are frosted!
Waited weeks for this to turn up and then find it's frosted. Not exactly clear from the pictures and does not say on the listing that they are or I wouldn't of bought it. ยฃ20 wasted.

Evans EC2 Frosted drum heads
Great full sound, easy to tune. Nice fat, tone. A bit darker with the 2 layers, they still have nice responsive bounce. The front gives them a nice grip when hit.

Nice product but some defects
Sounds fine when tuned properly . However coating was worn off at some places , otherwise all perfect.

Opens up the drum
I had a 16" red Evans hydro head on the floor tom. It wouldn't give me the bottom end I wanted. Put this on and it opened up the drum sound so much I had to dampen it some. A good choice to let the drum tone out.
