Loved the flame effect. It worked just as described. Great quality bulb that did not shatter when I accidentally dropped it. They seem durable.

Also in the product description it says “ outside buildings” Does have a very nice flame effect
DON’T USE OUTSIDE.We had this bulb less than a week and it shorted out because rain got inside it even though it was is an enclosed/covered fixture. Also in the product description it says “ outside buildings” Does have a very nice flame effect, so if you want that look inside it’s great.Update: It seems the company sent me a replacement at no cost after my review, so that’s a plus for them.

Flickering is more like flashing
Awful. I was so hopeful that this light would be like a flame. Nope. The "flickering effect" is so intense that it is like someone turning a light of an on.

Looks Real!
The light looks like a real fire is burning in my lamp and provides a soft and warm ambiance in my room. It provides ample lighting and is a great energy saver which is a nice bonus. Love it!
