Use Repositionable Scotch 6065 for Anything with Weight - Such As Acoustic Foam Panels
In the attached video, I've hung 12"x12"x2" acoustic foam panels in my office studio. Around 180 of them. Scotch 6065 Repositionable Spray Adhesive is the ONLY repositionable spray adhesive... which still works when you follow the directions. Loctite and Elmers also make a repositionable spray adhesive, but it struggles to hold anything heavier than photo paper or construction paper. I DID find a way to make Loctite and Elmers work... by spraying the foam and IMMEDIATELY mounting the panel to the wall (directions tell you to wait between 3 - 5 minutes). However, this reduces the repositionable feature, and also leaves a slight 'tack' on the mounting surface. So what I've discovered is that Scotch 6065 is the only one in which you spray, wait the recommended amount of time (just one minute!) and then proceed to mounting. This makes Scotch 6065 the 'strongest' adhesive, while still remaining repositionable. I've had to move the panels numerous times, and have never had damage to the panels or the mounting surface (a interior latex painted wall). I have also not had the problem of the foam disintegrating against the adhesive, nor the problem of the mounting surface remaining 'tacky' after the panel removal. One thing I must state is that after you remove something for repositioning, you WILL most likely need to re-spray the object with a light spray. This doesnt make it not-repositionable, it just meant that to reposition you will need to re-apply LIGHTLY (otherwis you may run in to the problems I mentioned earlier). You may be able to get away with using the Loctite or Elmers equivalent for EXTREMLY light mounting projects. However, Scotch 6065 has been the easiest repositionable adhesive to use, and I intend to keep using it. JHA

Reliable and repositions without damage
This is always a reliable product. We use it to hold stencils while painting. Itโs easy to remove and clean up to reuse the stencil.

Works great
Works great. Used on stencils to paint letters on styrofoam. Kinda pricey.

Scotch spray mount repositionable adhesive
Was surprised of how well the product worked. The project was a large array of pictures to be placed in a 12โ x 16โ frame.

Great for sewing!
This works great for appliquรฉ of spandex pieces for costumes and dance or cosplay - to hold in place until you can sew it down. Iโve found that it doesnโt bleed through or create wet looking spots. You can reposition it a bit so donโt worry too much if your pieces stick to themselves while youโre trying to get it positioned. It doesnโt cause a lot of hassle to sew through it - some adhesive gets transferred to your needle and thereโs the challenge of appliquรฉ on spandex with a zigzag stitch but itโs the best option Iโve worked with.

Nice Product
This product worked great for what I needed it for (temporarily adhering a stencil). The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the delivery date went beyond what was originally stated when I ordered it. I could've bought just as good of another brand as this one at a lower price, but would've had to wait 2-3 days longer to receive it. Usually no big deal, but I needed the mount adhesive fairly quickly for my project and I live in a rural area.

Good stuff. You can peel and restick later if you need .
Good stuff. Be sure to check which one to buy if you want permanent adhesive or this one, with you can peel and restick if you want to later.

Great adhesive but way to expensive now
This is my favorite adhesive to use. Able to take off stencils easily within 20 minutes. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the ridiculous price. It has gone up 4X in price over the past 3 years. Almost getting to expensive to use
