Good Construction, Excellent for Hanging Display
Very sturdy item that does a good job of housing knife collection. I was disappointed to find the SpyderPac was made in China (description noted it was made in America) but can't complain about the quality.

Best knife storage, bar none
SpyderPacs are the best knife totes I've come across. I'm a collector, had loaded three of the small SpyderPac versions then bought this to handle the overflow and better organize my knives. It's hard to find totes with clear plastic pouches so you can actually see the knives, and these carriers are extremely durable. I've owned my smaller ones for about six years, and after hundreds of removals/insertions nothing has frayed or worn. By the way, I've discovered that these will accept knife brands other than Spyderco as well ;)

A Great Bag for Precious Knives
As a knife collector, I find I had a need to store and protect my knives. Not only for the elements but from each other. Sometimes the steel material and scale materials can come in contact with each other and cause the knives to become scuffed and worn. I viewed many products and this was my final choice. The bag is quite a bit larger than what you might think. It is made of a sturdy nylon and some of the finest Velcro I have ever used. It comes with a strap on the top do you can hang it on your door or wall if you like. Each pocket is made of a Mylar that will accommodate any folding knife or multiple pocket knives. It has 20 pockets so you can place your folders with lanyards very comfortably. The bag will fold from the bottom in four folds and has a secure lock closer at the top. It fits very well under my bed or closet. I open it everyday as I change my EDC out daily. Bottom line is this is an excellent bag and well worth the money. It say Spyderco on it, that's not a bad thing as Spyderco is one of the top knives in the world. Great buy.

Perfect for modern and traditional folding knife collectors.
I highly recommend this Spyderpac as a reliable storage option for your folding knives. I bought the larger Spyderpac several months ago and it impressed me. It can hold large (not extra large) folding knives and still have room to fold shut. The material and stitching are all very sturdy and provide protection for your knives. The topmost fold contains an inserted dowel so that when you hang this case open, it remains flat against the wall and doesn't fold down the middle. I really like the transparent windows on each pouch. It's a great way to display your knives and to quickly choose your carry for the day. The plastic windows are durable and won't be damaged by the sharp parts of some knives. The velcro is well placed and confidently secures the whole package when it is folded. Nothing will fall out or get scratched when the package is dropped, swung, or bumped. The only folders that might not fit in this case are "fat" knives, like larger Victorinox multitools. I couldn't get my Victorinox Ranger or Fieldmaster to fit in the pockets without distorting the plastic window and creating a large bump in the case, which is not good for folding it shut. If you are looking for an attractive and functional carrying case for your folding knife collection, this Spyderpac is a very good choice.

Good quality solution, can actually hold more that 18 knives if you want. Small pac outside dimensions vary slightly.
(This review is for the large Spyderpac as well.) Good knife storage, does the job well. Note that I bought two of the smallpacs about two weeks apart, then one large pac. The first smallpac was 14.5” wide by 29” to the top of the flap, while the second was 15” x 29.5”. I was mounting these to the sides of a safe using command hooks, so it was kind of important to me that they match exactly, but I was able to work around it. You’re able to get some pretty big knives into these pockets, although some with some of the top sticking out a bit: A Cold Steel Spartan is the beefiest, and an original large Lone Wolf Tactical fit no problem, IF you are OK with the top of the knife sticking out. So it’s great for hanging like I do, but if you want to fold and go you’ll probably have to move the longer knives to the top row, or remove them. You can get two CRKT Carson M-16's or other slim knives into a single pouch if you're careful. All in all I was able to get 20 knives into the 18 pockets, and hang two more from their clips on the outside of occupied pockets. Other knives like a heavy ZT 302 and CS Ultimate Hunter with lanyard fit no problem. You can also slip small fixed blades in their sheaths in the pockets. I was able to get a CRKT Bear Claw and ESEE Izula in no problem. The only workaround you might have to do is if you have several smaller knives, in which case you might want to put some cloth or something at the bottom of the pockets else it will be a little hard to push them up and out of the pockets to get them out. To the reviewer who mentioned that dark knives become hard to see when dropped into the pocket with the black fabric background, that's true, so I cut some rectangles of stiff white card stock, and inserted them behind the knives to set them off and make them easier to identify. Use the section of white paper stiffener they shipped in the pac to start. By the way, the pocket widths are all over the place. The 18 small spyderpac pockets go from only 2” on the top and bottom edges, to 2 1/2” to a max of 2 5/8, with one 2 3/4” pocket. The large spyderpac with 30 pockets had no 2” sleeves, all were either 2 1/2” to 2 3/4” with several 2 5/8” and 2 11/16” pockets in the middle, with two that actually ran 2 13/16”. I get the impression assembly of the pockets is pretty random, and when the get to the edges they have to reduce the size of them to get them to fit. If you’re going to keep this rolled up, I would say you’ll get longer life out of it. My sole concern is the plastic pockets stretching out over time if you hang it up like I do, as they will conform to the knife you put in, but they seem strong enough, and the stitching is good. It’s easy to move your longer folders around if you want to fold it up to transport. Overall I’m pleased with the quality, and with a little bit of work cutting card stock backers it makes for a nice display. Here are a couple pics of each model

Great knife case
I've been collecting knives since I was a kid. My only problem was that I had no good place to store them. The plastic toolbox that I had them in was completely full. I still had knives everywhere. I had knives in boxes, drawers, cabinets, closets, in my dresser, and several other places. I bought this to have all my knives in one place. It is a great quality case. The clear pockets allow you to see your collection. The way the case folds over on itself prevents your knives from rubbing against each other. The pockets will fit almost anything from small folders up to fairly large folders. In fact, with over 80 knives, I don't have a single folder that won't fit. The only issue I had with this specific case that I ordered from Amazon was that the rod sewn into the front flap on the case was broken. At first I didn't know if it was broken or supposed to be that way until I ordered another one from a different website. The other case arrived and the rod was still in one piece. No a big issue to me. I use that to identify my cases without opening them. Higher quality, more expensive knives go into the case without the broken rod, and cheaper knives go in the case with the broken rod. If you've got knives to store, or maybe even a zippo collection, get this case. They hold items in one spot, protected, and fold up easily to store just about anywhere.

Great Way to Store your Knife Collection.
This is a pretty great way to store your knife collection. Unlike a case it is portable, so if you wanted to travel with more than one knife or your whole collection you can just roll this up and be on your way. Otherwise you can pretty much see everything you need from the pictures. It will fot folding knives of any size, even larger knives like the Spyderco Caribbean or the Benchmade Contego. The quality is great, very thick nylon and the plastic holders are thick and well sewn. This will last you forever and shows no signs it will fall apart under normal use. If you have knives spread around and don't want to spring for some expensive wooden display case, this is the perfect solution to hang on a wall, or roll up and store anywhere else. The quality of materials here make it worth the money.

Fixes Your Knife Storage Problems
I was on the hunt looking for something to hold my collection of knives instead of keeping them inside of one of my range bags. I do have one Spyderco knife and use it everyday and is part of my EDC set up. Happily, I stumbled upon this product which satisfied my needs at an affordable price even with the brand name. This knife holder comes with an abundance of pockets with a nice see through flexible plastic for convenience. There are 32 slots which is plenty for keeping your favorite knives in order however you want to. I have not tried rolling this up with the knives inside because I plan to keep it hanged up on my door. My door is standard size and it perfectly fits in the middle with room on the sides and out of the way. The bag does not stick out any distance and stays convenient. The strap does hook on to both sides of the bag extending upwards to hang off of a nail or thumbtack. I am using a thumbtack as I am a bit lazy to screw in a nail ( I know sad) and remains sturdy for a few weeks now. The material is very nice and should withstand a cut if an accident does happen. The top part of the bag does hang over the first layer of knives displaying the Spyderco brand name and in my opinion looks very nice as I am proud with using a Spyderco product.

Highly recommended, especially for modern folder collectors
Excellent! I first bought a Sack-Ups Knife Protector (18 capacity) and it just didn't work for the variety of knives I own. This is much, much better. I love that the pockets are clear so you can see your collection and choose your daily carry. I also really love the quality of construction in this pack. The top spine is reinforced with a full-width dowel (wood? plastic?) that is stitched into the material. It is sturdy enough that you can hang this pack, when full of knives, from a hanger and not have the pack fold along it's vertical centre. The plastic used in the see-through pockets is very strong and won't get cut or worn through by your knives. No matter how long your knives are, the whole pack will fold up nicely. I have a Paramilitary 2 in the top row and it fits just fine. One possible limitation would be "fat" knives. I can fit an Opinel #8 with no problem, but a SAK Fieldmaster is just thick enough around its girth that it won't go into a pocket without stretching it a bit. I choose to store those knives elsewhere.

Definitely recommended
I LOVE this thing. I was going to go with the cheaper generic pouches but the reviews weren't always that great. I have a few Spydercos, a few Benchmades and a few other brands...and they all fit in quite nicely. A couple of my knives are quite tall and stick out above the pockets. They still fit well because of how it all folds up. I can't even tell there are larger folders in there. No scraping, no hitting and no damage. Highly recommended.
