SASSafety 5155 Replacement Faceshield For 5145, Clear

A friend gave me an S&S 5155 mask without a shield. I looked at the replacement shields and thought they were expensive compared to the cheap junk I’ve used before. I bought the S&S shield anyway.Now that I’ve used the S&S setup, I’ll never have another cheap face shield again! Very solid construction, good and thick shield, optically correct with zero distortion. The shield’s curvature allows it to wrap around your face and allow less junk in from the sides & bottom.A little more expensive and very well worth the money!

Came quickly, packed fairly well with bubble wrap and plastic over the masks to keep them from being scratched. Box was kind of flimsy so it could be crushed by shipper - but it arrived without a problem.

Great fit, just a bit too costly for one and I didn't find them in quantity pack.

This replacement shield is very sturdy, perfect fit and cost less than replacing the entire face shield.

I often cut aluminum with a cross cut saw. Shards fly EVERYWHERE when doing this. Just wearing safety glasses just don’t protect my eyes well enough. I like this harder, stiff shield. If your damage/scar the shield, just buy this replacement shield. Installs east.

The specs don't make it clear that this meets the Z87+ "high impact" standard. Most of the other faceshields on Amazon either don't or don't specify this. That is a must if you are going to work with anything that can become a projectile (for me it is wood turning). It is shaped well and nice and clear.
