10 ~ Dark Grains & Extremely Figured ~ Bethlehem Olive Wood Pen Blanks~

These pen blanks really do match the picture shown. All 10 blanks look good. I have turned a lot of Olive pen blanks and these have the most dramatic figuring of the any that I've turned before. Add one of supplied stickers, and the pen looks like it was professionally done. If you like highly figured olive wood with "Holy Land" certificates, this is the best package .

Was leery about the description, but was instantly amazed at the quality when I opened the package. The blanks are well seasoned with no cracking, chips or splitting. Every blank is surfaced to and squared to precise dimensions. I've been working with wood for over (well never mind those details, but I can say over 50+ years) and this is a superior product. The grain, marbling of the product I received was far more than I expected. I am someone that doesn't accept less than exceptional. Give it a try, I would be surprised if you were disappointed. So you know, I have made a 2nd order. By the way, I have nothing to do with the company, but is a truly honest description of what I received.

It isn't "Dark Grain & Extreamley Figured"... Two photos, both are same blocks, one pic shows blocks flipped over to see other side. A couple of the blocks seen could pass as 'figured' but certainly not the whole lot. Package was previously opened. I can only assume this was a return for the same reason. Think I'll need to return.

I've used Bethlehem Olive Wood extensively and have ordered so-called "extremely figured" blanks from other vendors. I was thrilled to see that these blanks are truly extremely figured with dark grains. Absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to see how they "turn" out.

This is not a complaint. Every stick of wood is different. I keep buying different vendors' products in hopes of finding that piece of wood I desire... and I won't know until I see it! The product is very good, well packaged and merchandised. No reflection on this product as to quality, etc. I looking for that perfect stick of wood.

While I haven't turned any of these blanks yet, I am pleased that they look exactly like the picture. I sometimes read reviews that say that while the pictures show 'highly figured' at least some of the blanks are not. These are square, straight, and should turn very well. I would buy from this vendor again.

This product was all and more than I expected. The wood colouring was very uniquely patterned with dark black veins throughout. Every piece was totally different. The order arrived even before the expected. Will definitely not hesitate to order this product again.

Very nice contrast and tight grain. Used for pens with excellent results. Comes with ten business card sized letters of authenticity stating origin and that they are made from pruning of older trees. Will buy again.
