Prima Home Test Helicobacter Pylori Tester

I have quite a bit of experience using medical testing kits and this one works perfectly. For anyone having a problem using the kit, I recommend having two people read the instructions and collaborate in performing the test. Basically, make sure you get enough blood by doing a good prick and keeping your arm down with a bit of finger massage to get the blood out. Once a decent size bit of blood has appeared then use the little pipette collector so that the blood goes down into it - think of holding a cup underneath. Any don't press the thing in any way - it will just fill up on its own. Then drop onto test kit carefully and add the diluent exactly as it says. Its seriously easy. Just take it slow and don't add anything extra. Read results in the time they specify and all will be good. TIP: Rather than using their lancet device provided. Buy an Auto Lancing device which usually comes with tons of spare needles and that way you can repeat the process if you don't get enough blood on first attempt. Don't try to use the kit unless you get the correct blood amount. In my case I had a negative result - saving me from waiting for a referral and wasting my time at the hospital.

I’ve purchased this test, as someone had recommended I test for h pylori. Followed instructions and result came back as a faint positive (which the leaflet states is considered positive). Contacted GP who ordered stool test - which confirmed the initial test result so was provided with treatment. All in all - based on my experience with this, can say am pleased with my purchase!

Dreadful instructions, neither of the 2 lancets worked, had to pull them apart in the end and manually force the needle into my finger, which wasn't easy and took several attempts. The pipette wouldn't take the blood from my finger after all that, so I felt all I could do was squeeze it directly into the "well" and hope for the best. Needless (no pun intended!) to say the test gave no result whatsoever. I bought this at the higher price on Prime, because I was anxious to find out if H Pylori is the cause of my pain, and didn't want to wait any longer than necessary. Now on top of stomach pains I am £13.49 poorer with a sore finger from manually pricking it 3 times, and none the wiser!

This arrived quickly and was packaged well, with good communication from The company. It's hard to say how accurate the test is as I have a disease which often effects results of tests as false positives or negatives. But regardless of this it gave me a clear answer. The instructions were clear to use and test was quick and easy to perform at home. I would reccomend to others , but if a negative result appears and pain and styptmoms continue, don't hesitate to visit your GP/health practitioner.

Such an inexpensive kit for a quick way to tell if you've got h-pylori, easy to use and accurate results.

Very accurate test, done the test I have bought online then I had GP test done which ha showed the same results. I recommend this test as being an accurate test and saves time of waiting for a GP appt. Easy and quick.
