Does it open can on inside edge or clean cut outside edge?

It opens on the inside edge. :)

Do you have to hold the can the hold time or only with the larger size (28 oz+) cans only?

The magnet is strong enough to hold small and medium sized cans,(8oz & 15.25oz),but the large cans you have to hold.

has anybody used it to open #10 size cans?

I had trouble with it opening the larger cans. It tangles up in paper on the cans....on all sizes.

may I know this opener is in common use for all size can? Or is there any size limited for the can cover when using this auto-opener?

I've only used it for family sized cans, but it's tall enough to open large cans. However, I'm not sure if a commercial sized cans would fit.
