Used Infront of the log burner to protect the flooring and rug. It just rolls out, it does get mucky from log debris. Useful for safety though.

The mat is a great idea. Fireproof, can be wiped clean but it’s a bit more expensive than I would have liked

It slides when placed on carpet , that’s the only flaw . Other than that it’s the perfect size for in front of my log stove . Easy to keep clean and store when not in use . Protects from accidental burns on your flooring . I’m happy , good product

We use this to save time cleaning the hearth, ash discolours slate over time and this works well for our purpose, but the stitching was missing from a large area and it looks like it has been bogged with glue and sent out as new. My husband thought something was odd about it when we got it, he said it was scratched and dirty, I though it was just the type of material it was. Unfortunately the glue that was used to stick the material that hadn't been stitched property has come away, and now there is a gaping gap for several inches along one side.

fantastic mat, I have a floor level hearth for my stove so the hearth is inset into the floor, a potential nightmare if hot embers fall out when i open the door.. this has been a life saver and a floor saver!! i’ve used it all winter, there’s not a mark on the floor and when it’s not in use it folds up and i can put it away.. would highly recommend would defo buy again
