Quality bivvy
An extremely well made bivvy hut. It is very quick and easy to set up. My only complaint is there are no pegs or stakes to secure the tether lines to the ground. Honestly for nine hundred bucks it could have at least included a few pegs. The size and weight make it ideal for backpacking as it rolls up fairly compact. The material feels to me like around 420 denier ripstop nylon outer shell and a gore tex like material on the inside of the shell. i do not think you would be disappointed.

Not what I expected, but happy.
Received it today and I have a couple issues first off. 1, this is not as advertised. The description reads "dark earth", but what showed up was OD green. 2, there are no instructions or stakes included. It would be nice to know how it goes together before I somehow damage a thousand dollar tent while trying to figure it out. This is the only reason why this is three instead of five stars. This is very well made, compacts enough to fit in my Eberlestock half track backpack, and it went together in five minutes. (30 if you count my trip to Walmart for stakes). It's expensive but I'd buy it again. In the pictures also included you see the Eberlestock half track backpack and the Eberlestock ultralight sleeping bag. I'm 5'8" 175 and I have PLENTY of room.

consider!!
great emergency shelter or low profile sneak/blind. i do not recommend this for backpacking, as it offers no space for sitting up or changing or keeping gear dry. imagine sleeping in a coffin. no room to change or maneuver. major challenge in the rain as the opening is skyward in its normal position, or if the tent flap is extended you need to roll onto the wet earth. i recommend using a tarp in addition. did not come with stakes... this tent is great for the bug out bag. i will invest in an actual backpacking tent for recreation purposes. built tough and solid.
