So I have been really into buying and reviewing these new lifestyle projectors on Amazon over the last few months. I have posted reviews here on Amazon for both of the Elephas models (W1K and YG model). I really like both of those projectors and do highly recommend them. I will also post a review shortly of the DBPower S5. I purchased this model based on a variety of Youtube reviews that I have been watching. The most notable difference between this projector and almost every other Amazon unit under $500 is the speaker system. In fact if you watch any of those Youtube videos they all pay particular attention to the unique speaker unit. It is a "2.2" system as it has two conventional speakers (tweeter and woofer) along with two "subwoofers" built in. The result is probably the best sounding speaker I have heard from any of these projectors. That is great but in all honesty it doesn't matter that much for my current application (video) as I have the projector hooked up to my 7.2.4 AVR. I am more focused on ease of use and picture quality. To illustrate the latter I took a video purposely not under ideal conditions. The video and pictures were taken yesterday in my living in full daylight. The black out curtains are pulled open and, as you can tell, light spills into the room on two sides since it is an open room. I think that is some pretty impressive performance for an advertised 500 ansi lumens (I think it is brighter than advertised specs based on the comparison with the two Elephas models). Now I will say one thing. The projector is only half of the equation. The other half is the projector screen. The screen I have been using is a 120 inch ALR (anti light rejection) screen from a company called XIAOHUI. It is very inexpensive selling at between $40-$65 depending on the timing of your purchase. It has metal bars that slide through the screen at the top and bottom to help retain the overall shape. As you can tell the screen makes all of the difference in the world for the final visual experience.. The projector is also extremely easy to setup and use. It uses the same operating system as the Elephas models which, as I mentioned, is not only super easy to setup but also very good when it comes to picture adjustment options. I mentioned that this is an impressive "complete" projector in the title of this review. I say that because I think the audio matches the picture performance plus you have an extremely easy to setup and use interface. For the price this is currently selling for, around $179, you should seriously consider this projector. Some of those Youtube videos I watched were from a year ago when the unit originally sold for $500. Don't hesitate when considering buying this projector.

I've tried three different ones this week and the boom 3 was my favorite. The things you need to know that were important to me - this is the best for the money out there! It has the best sound of all and it has a great picture. If a lamp or two were on in the room, it was still "OK" . It is best if in a dark room, but some light was still ok. We did have a 40" tv still set up - in the room - and compared to it (brightness being a 10 - the projector was about a 6 in brightness. It was still way better than the 300 lumens projectors I had tried. This one was the easiest to use, and has great auto correct features (meaning it is able to see the size of the screen and angles and automatically adjust to it. Those feature, however, didn't work if the projector is too far to one side or at too much of an angle. We tried to position it on a night stand next to a king sized bed with a 100" screen 15' away and it would not "automatically find and fit the screen" but I could "zoom" to make it smaller and fit the screen and then adjust the angles manually to get it perfect - but it wouldn't remember it for the next night of TV watching. Since it had to be done manually at this side angle, I decided it was a NO GO - because i didn't want to take the 3or 4 minutes to get it set up every night. Also, another negative, is it needed a firestick in the HDMI port to get more important apps like peacock and hulu. It had tons of apps, but not the three we used. Another negative, for me, is now I have to use 2 remotes - one for the projector set up, then one for the firestick (not to mention the blue tooth sound bar (3rd remote for volume) but that one at least was "remembered" by the projector and would connect each time automatically. Overall, it was a great projector - heavy duty - bigger than I expected (8.5" square and about 7" tall.) Definitely well built and worth every penny!

The overall quality of the projected image seems good. The apps available on the device itself is limited but I plugged a Fire-stick in the HDMI and can access pretty much anything through that. The only problem I have had is that it will not respond to the power button after playing a movie. All the other buttons work fine but for some reason even the power button on the device itself does not work. I have had to power it off by unplugging it. I reached out the customer service but they merely said they were working on bugs going forward and could not help.

I am beyond impressed with this projector. I watched and read a lot of reviews and saw many say it’s not bright enough but that is not true. I bought this for a small apartment and use it in the living room where there is a patio window that takes up the whole wall. During the day it’s incredibly bright and I can still see the image on the wall with a bit of wash out from the sun. If I lower my blinds(which are not completely solid) the picture is very close to watching a tv. In the evenings it’s is extremely bright and rich and I would put it up against any mid-range tv any day. Shadows and highlights are handled extremely well and movies look amazing on it. The native OS is limited in apps and a bit slow but I plugged in a Roku stream box and it’s a dream. The sounds is excellent as well. Auto keystone and focus is very efficient with minimal manual tweaking to make it perfect. I had to use it on my coffee table for for a couple of weeks at a very extreme angle and once adjusted it displayed a perfect picture. 10/10 recommend. Amazing value for the price.

The projector is equipped with Dolby sound and a powerful 36W speaker system. I’ve used a lot of projectors before, but none of them come close to this. The high frequencies were crisp and clear, the mids were full and well-balanced, and the bass – oh wow, the bass was so deep and rich, it really added a whole new layer to the movie-watching experience. The sound filled the room, and it felt like we were sitting in a real cinema. The volume was loud enough to reach every corner of the room without any distortion, and the clarity was just perfect. The Dolby sound paired with the powerful speaker system truly created a surround sound-like atmosphere that enhanced the entire movie experience. As we settled in for the movie, I noticed how well the projector displayed the image, especially in a moderately dark room. The colors were vibrant, and the picture quality was sharp, with great contrast. The auto-correction features made sure we didn’t have to worry about any blurriness or misalignment, even when we shifted the projector slightly during setup. This projector looks and sounds amazing. Please note, it does NOT come with the Google Play store and its variety of Android apps. The NetRange "App Store" this comes with is terrible. The apps look like they are for other countries and offer little appeal to anyone in America. If you are OK with Netflix, then I am sure this will be fine for you. I do love the projector hardware otherwise. I emailed Aurzen support about the issue. They responded quickly both times, and offered a $60 discount for a Roku device, but I wanted an all-in-one solution for watching IPTV. I use TiViMate which is on the Google Play store and couldn't get it, which was why I was so disappointed. Aurzen did mention that they are continuing to work on improving partnerships and negotiate contracts with vendors. I am assuming Google wants a good deal of money for Aurzen or any manufacturer to include their software. I think if they keep it up, Aurzen may just be the "Apple" of all-in-one projectors one day, but as this one is for now, the software is the only bad thing about the product. I wound up sending this one back and ordered a YABER K2s projector instead. UPDATE: Aurzen customer support contacted me based on my review of this projector and sent me another one to try. I still had the same issues with this projector as far as the software goes. They did correct my in the fact that the OS on this projector is indeed WEB OS and not ANDROID. My mistake... but some of the interface admittedly looks and operates like Google TV in some ways. I mentioned to them that I had no issues with the quality of the projector itself - but I was expecting an all-in-one solution where I did not have to purchase an outside appliance like an external Google TV or TiVo Stream device. While this device does have Netflix built-in, I was looking to install the IPTV software I use, called TiViMate, which runs on the Android platform. The Netrange "store" app has some basic downloads, but most of the content in Netrange seems to be based toward other parts of the world, and not the Americas. And as I mentioned, the lack of Google Play and its associated apps make the onboard software not very useful. If you don't mind connecting an external device to this projector, you'll be happy with the results. The projector has a nice image and good sound. I was just looking for an all-in-one solution. I will say Aurzen customer support did reach out and genuinely seemed concerned about my issues with the software. Maybe they will consider moving to an Android platform sometime soon. Who knows? But at least I brought up the discussion and hopefully they will take my advice to heart.

If you’re looking for a giant smart TV look no further. Want a home theater, this is definitely what you want. We were wanting to add a tv/media device to the giant basement in our new house but definitely weren’t trying to spend several hundred dollars for a tv in the basement where we spend the least amount of our time. I found this and the reviews were pretty decent, it’s Prime so I really didn’t have anything to lose getting it. First off, very bright in a good way. You can still see the screen very well even with a few lights on. Very portable. The sound quality isn’t like theater quality, but no slouch in the audio department either. It’s good, not great. For our family’s streaming needs, the native apps are perfect- YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, each with its own remote shortcut. The remote is nice and simple too use, buttons are spaced out fairly well which makes it easier if you are operating it in the dark. There is a cool auto focus feature and several other audio and display setting options. We’ve only had it not even a week yet and are still experimenting with it and where the projector will go permanently to give the biggest but best picture quality. Not a lot I don’t like about it. So far, only two drawbacks I’ve found- the projector runs very hot as many projectors do, just make sure it’s set up in a well ventilated, cool area with not a ton of other electronics… like a basement. The other thing I wish I could do is adjust the audio and display while watching something to test the setting changes in real time. Those two things just mentioned are literally the only things I think could/ should be improved, primarily the second issue. The only reason for four stars, and I was debating on a five star review honestly. This would make a great gift! If you temper your expectations for a $300 projection tv you definitely will not be disappointed.

Se ve increíble el proyector, lo compré en promoción y no cabe duda de que fue una excelente compra, tiene muy buenos detalles al proyectar la imagen y se ve muy nítida además de que las bocinas integradas se escuchan muy bien. Lo usamos para proyectar una película en familia en un patío y logró proyectar excelente la imagen en la pared sin usar algún tipo de tela blanca como pantalla, el proyector estaba a 6 metros de distancia de la pared. Completamente lo recomiendo

من ناحية الصورة والصوت ممتاز جدا النظام لا يوجد فيه الا تطبيقات محددة فقط لا يمكن تنزيل تطبيقات من خارج الجهاز مدير الملفات لا يعرض البرامج لتثبيت التطبيقات من اليو اس بي، و هذا شيء مزعج جدا مشغل الفيديو في البروجكتر سيء جدا في عرض الترجمة المدمجة حتى في الفيديو وأحيانا لا يتعرف عليها إطلاقا. هذا يجعل منفذ اليو اس بي بلا فائدة لي تواصلت مع الدعم الفني بتغيير او تحديث مشغل الفيديو لكن بلا فائدة تذكر. كان الرد بتوصيل جهاز محمول لابتوب بمنفذ Hdmi وتشغيل الفيديو. وهذا شيء مزعج جدا للأسف، و الدعم الفني لا يقدم اي دعم او حل لهذه المشاكل بعد تواصل أكثر من مره بهذه المشاكل. دعم فني بلا فائدة للأسف

Communicated with Aurzen Support on several occasions and was finally advised the product was faulty and to return back to Amazon for full refund. Overall experience with Support was good. They responded very promptly and helpful.
