I would recommend this product
I wore it for my Halloween costume this year w/ a white shirt & white pants. Everyone commented how sharp it looked. I would recommend this product. It is an easy outfit to put together. The sailor costume was perfect for me. I did read the reviews before I purchased it & as was suggested, it did need ironing. I used a steam iron & it was fine. Pressing/ironing will be needed! Hope it works for you as it did for me! God bless!

This is flimsy, but really cute. Worked perfect for a day, wore with a nautical striped top. Can't beat the price!

recommend scarf, but not hat
I am a slender adult female who is 5 feet and 7.5 inches tall. The scarf looks nice and fits fairly loosely, which I want.The hat is not a great fit and the trim of the white hat is black rather than navy blue, so it does not match the navy scarf, but fortunately that doesn’t bother me because I don’t intend to use the hat.Both the hat and scarf are the thin, scratchy material one should expect from a cheap costume item.I recommend the scarf, but not the hat.

Item as expected - served its limited purpose - would buy again.
I purchased this item for my daughter's play...it was a one time use item. For the money, which is not much at all, the quality was as expected. This is not a hat for the high seas :). Since this was for a child, the hat ran a little big so I cannot comment on any fitment issues - I expected the hat to fit a little big. The scarf was fine as well and served its purpose. Many kids wore it for the plays they had to perform and the items held up just fine. For our purpose, I recommend the item and the price point was just right.

don't buy- cant do anything but throw in the trash
AWFUL quality which can be expected for a Halloween outfit that is low cost but the size is so preposterously big that is not usable by anyone (they should be ashamed for selling an item that needs to go to the trash).

Yikes!
Tie fit perfect, hat was too big and the hat trim was black and not navy to match the tie. Certainly dissapointed, but it did its purpose.

Used it for a murder mystery dinner show theme was voyage to murder! Captain of the ship was murdered.
