Zinsser B-I-N AQUA 1L

BIN has been the ‘go to’ shellac for Professional & DIYers for prepping unstable surfaces before painting for decades. Now in water based version and still as good. Short drying time with good coverage although a bit watery so watch out for spills & splashes.Zinsser are an essential brand for prepping most surfaces

The best undercoat ever.

Great product

Hi. First off I deducted a star because of the ridiculous price of this paint. Recently decorated the living room and decided to paint the radiator to match as covering it with a cabinet wasn’t going to work. Using the Zinsser Aqua as a primer I thoroughly cleaned the radiator but didn’t sand it and then applied this paint. It goes on easily and I used little craft/kids paint sponges to get into the baffles I used a synthetic 2” brush for the rest. Nice finish, good coverage and a doddle to apply. The Zinsser was the base for a satin finish indoor wood/metal water based paint we had mixed at B&Q.The finished job looks the dogs bits with a really smart finish. That’s two coats of each paint thoroughly dry between coats. I didn’t sand at all which goes against the grain for me but it seems to have worked. Being summer I won’t have the heating on much but once dried I’ve had it on several times full blast to test the paint and it’s all good so far. If the paint does peel or crack at anytime I’ll update this review. Hope this helps. Incidentally, the paint arrived by the date advised and very well/properly packed.

Love this stuff! Have bought more, brilliant primer/undercoat and covers loads!

Arrived in a bag in a box and open. Paint has spilled out.

The product is good. Covered stains well. However it wasn't packaged well. My adult daughter opened the package and the lid on the tin was loose so the contents had leaked out, luckily it was at least in a plastic bag. Thankfully we had only lost approx 1/8th of the contents. My daughter used the product as the job we are doing needs to be finished by Saturday, otherwise I would have returned it.

I have ordered this before. This paint is brilliant and well packaged by the seller. Going to use it as a base after sanding down all paint work in new build, then will use a water based top coat.

Acheté pour suivre la peinture de la même marque à base solvant.Aussi efficace et tellement plus pratique à nettoyer.J'en suis très satisfaite
