Push HARD, it takes pressure to seat
I almost returned this as non-functional. But it was user error. I knew I had all 4 pins lined up, and I had pressed firmly in two different lamp heads. But when I placed the working bulb from lamp #2 into lamp #1, no light; figured it was the lamp. Tried to return existing working bulb into lamp #2, no light. Shook head, thought a minute then really shoved. LIGHT CAME ON. Tried it with new bulb, LIGHT CAME ON. So the bulb itself is great, but it required more ummph to install then I anticipated. I love that it's the EOM item.

Bright and works wonderfully
My original light bulb was on its last leg and I knew that. It was not bright and it took a long time to even turn or. This replacement bulb certainly did the trick. It comes on right away and is BRIGHT! I didn't realize how bad my original light bulb was until I replaced it. I have thrilled with my purchase and now I have the extra light I had desired. Good buy!

Works for model GX7906
I picked up an old Ottlite model GX7906 missing its bulb in a thrift store, I figured for a whole $6 (plus $20 for the bulb) I could take a chance on what looked like a good floor lamp. Since this is an outdated model none of the bulb listings listed it as a compatible model, but during my search I found the product manual. It specified Type C style number PL24-C as the bulb type so I risked it and ordered this. While it was a bit of a struggle to put in, it did go and it does work so I can verify that this is the right bulb for that model.

These tubes last a very long time, maybe a decade or more. I've been using these lamps for 25 years (three of them: 2 in living room, one in bedroom) and I've only had to replace the tube once on each. Amazing product. I had to research the lamps I own to make sure I found a tube that would substitute for the original. They are expensive but worth it.
