VIVOSUN Controller E25, Expansion Port for E42A+/E42A, WiFi APP Control

Item Reviewed: VIVOSUN Controller E25, Expansion Port for E42A+/E42A, WiFi APP Control Price at time of Order: $19.99 I picked up this Vivosun E25 controller to use with my new Vivosun Aerolight A100 grow light. This was listed as an "optional" accessory, but I've found the opposite to be true. Without this adapter, the A100 simply runs at full strength/speed when plugged up. Adding this E25 controller to the mix gives me near-total control of my A100. I can configure device schedules and recipes, set the spectrum/intensity/power state of the light, and set the fan speed/power state for the circulation fan. The device itself is pretty small and uses a USB-C connection to plug into the top of my A100. The Vivoson app recognized the controller right away and once I told the app it was connected to an A100, it pulled all the device settings right in. I can't speak to the functionality with other Vivosun devices, but I can confirm it works like a charm with the A100 and I couldn't be happier with it.

This thing is kinda cool and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I’m using it to manage two grow lights and it keeps them running at a set level instead of blasting at full power all the time, which feels way more efficient from an electricity standpoint. Setup was easy, the app works fine, and once it’s configured I mostly forget it’s even there. It’s not overloaded with confusing options, but still gives you enough control to make a real difference. If you’re already using VIVOSUN gear and want smarter control without overthinking it, this is an easy 5 stars. I'll eventually buy other things to control, but for now, just a couple of lights.

Full disclosure, I'm 100% aboard the Vivosun train! I have 10 or 12 Vivosun products, SGS and standalone and they are all awesome. I have two large grow tents and we produce all year long. However, before we had large tents we had medium and small. So because we had bumper crops all summer, I actually started a third tent and I had a Vivosun Fan and Light... enter the GrowHub E25. For like $20, I added it right to my APP and had another garden, fully automated and running any recipe you can imagine. I'm writing this review because I got a reminder while buying another one. E25 took 3 minutes to add and configure and it's Vivosun, so it starts up right into a superior management App. Don't waste too much time thinking about it - it's a winner! Love What You Grow!

My last ever vivosun product I ever have to buy. The grow light requires this to function but does not come with it. I don't mind their software, easy peasy. I wanted to try the lights with fans plugged in, the spectrum tuning is just silly but less fans sounds nice. Their other products just don't really compare for the price and functionality. They were the most disappointing clip fan out of the other brands I tried. This 5 star is my goodbye vivosun

I picked up the VIVOSUN GrowHub E25 to control my AeroLights for starting vegetable seedlings indoors, and overall, it’s been a great addition to my setup. While it’s clearly designed with a different audience in mind, it still offers solid functionality for anyone looking to automate their grow tent environment. Setup & Ease of Use Right out of the box, setup was painless. The E25 connected to my Android phone immediately, and getting it onto my WiFi network was just as simple. The VIVOSUN app was straightforward, and I didn’t run into any connection issues or troubleshooting headaches—something I really appreciate in a smart device. Functionality & Performance I’m using it to control four AeroLights that are linked together, and while this is my first time using artificial light for seedlings, I’m feeling optimistic. Last year, I learned the hard way that my windows don’t provide enough natural light, so I’m hoping this setup gives me stronger, healthier plants. The app itself is very responsive, and while I’ve only browsed the automation scheduling, it looks easy enough to set up. I like the idea of having light schedules tailored to different plant growth stages, but this leads to one of my biggest gripes… Missed Opportunity for Vegetable Growers VIVOSUN’s app is clearly designed with cannabis growers in mind, which is fine—but for those of us growing vegetables, it feels like an afterthought. The default pictures of marijuana plants in the app feel out of place when I’m just trying to start tomatoes and peppers. It would be fantastic if VIVOSUN included grow recipes for common garden vegetables instead of just cannabis. Even better, if they allowed customizable grow schedules with user-uploaded images, that would make it much more versatile. Build Quality & Reliability So far, no glitches or disconnects—the connection has been rock-solid. One concern I do have is the physical design of the dongle—it sticks out a bit, and I worry about accidentally snagging it and damaging the port on the AeroLight. A right-angle or recessed connection would have been a better design choice. The easy setup, reliable app, and good automation features make it a strong choice for growers of all levels. That said, VIVOSUN could really improve this product by making it more inclusive for vegetable growers and adding Home Assistant integration. If you’re looking for a simple way to control and automate your grow lights, this is a solid pick—just be prepared to ignore all the cannabis imagery if you're growing veggies! ⭐ 4 out of 5 stars – Would be 5 stars if it had more customization for non-cannabis growers.

Amazing light, this is my second one....my plants do amazing under these things, you can't go wrong with this....will definitely be ordering more for my plant room

Device would not connect to my home dual band wifi router despite multiple attempts. The phone app is NOT intuitive to use and the included instructions are meager and not useful.

I recently purchased the VIVOSUN Controller E25 to go with the VIVOSUN AeroLight 240W LED Grow Light, Full Spectrum Plant Light with Fan. Once you figure out how to program it, the functionality is awesome. Without the controller you will not be able to control the light and fan intensity. I gave it a 3-Star because it gets 5-Stars for what it does, but a 1-Star for how it does it. The controller comes with no manual. NONE! You are 100% on your own. I got it to work, but I have no idea what I did. It has many options for starting seeds, growing plants and flowers. But good luck figuring out how to take advantage of these options. I have never bought a product that is this complicated and has no operating instructions. To borrow a phrase from Ron Bopeil ... Now that I have set it, I hope I can forget it!

Da ja das USB C Splitter Kabel so gut wie nicht erhältlich ist, ist das eine sehr gute Wahl zusätzlich zum GrowHub E42A um einen zweiten Vivosun AeroWave E6 Ventilator über die App zu steuern. Super einfach und selbsterklärend zu verbinden. Funktioniert ohne Probleme. Kann ich nur empfehlen ❤️ ich liebe Produkte von Vivosun ❤️
