QC-Mate by XBoom Coupler (1/2” Uni-Jaw Set, 12” QC-Mate Clamp)

I have a walk behind skid steer with several attachments that use the auxiliary hydraulics. Since day 1, I have struggled to connect the hydraulic lines and had recently resorted to breaking the fitting loose to relieve the pressure so I could connect. Well this was a huge pain and really defeated the purpose of a "quick" fitting. I saw this tool and decided to give it a try, even though it is a bit pricey. Well, it does EXACTLY what it claims. The minute this was delivered, I walked out to my machine and was able to connect the fittings with almost zero effort and absolutely no eff bombs. Follow the instructions to make sure they are lined up, a few squeezes of the clamp and BAM they were connected. No mess, either - just like it should be. I absolutely recommend buying this if you have a skid steer or a tractor with multiple, flat faced fittings.

I upgraded my tractor’s 1/4” Pioneer style couplers, to 1/2” flat face skid steer type couplers. I found the flat face couplers easier to disconnect, but much more difficult to connect. This tool solved the problem. No more cussing and straining my back!

Without this, I could not get quick connects to connect and seat fully even when the hydraulic pressure release was actioned. The QC Mate solved the problem and turned something that was previously 15 minutes of frustration into 1 - 2 minutes of clamping effort. Frustration eliminated.

Worked great a little spendy but saves a lot of time and frustration

Had an attachment that had both fittings under slight pressure. I attempted to use another clamp I had around to get it coupled with no luck. Decided I needed something so I didn't have to fight connections in the future. Received this clamp in a timely manner and tried it out immediately. After only 3 trigger pulls on the clamp, the fitting popped on. This thing is totally worth it. I think it was key to have the coupling lined up. The clamp seems pretty heavy duty as well.

Worked great on three couples. The fourth one coluld not line up. and almost need another person to help. Had to loosen couple to release preasure for fouth coupler . .
