Reviewing the Blukar LED Headlamp, 8000L head-mounted worklight. This is an excellent product at a reasonable price. It appears well made, with substantial plastic components, and produces a very intense, and adjustable, spotlight beam as well as sidebeams. The builtin rechargeable batteries are relatively large (about twice the volume of two AA batteries) so should last a reasonable length of time. The batteries are easily accessed so should be easily replaceable if necessary. The headband is about 1" wide and not uncomfortable, and both around-the-head circumference and over-the head length are easily adjustable. The various light patterns are controlled by sequentially pressing a button, but two of the patterns, blinking white and red, are unnecessary in a worklight and cause annoyance when cycling through the button presses to turn the lamp off.

This headlamp light was a surprise as to how well built it is, how heavy the materials are, and what it will do. First, it came with partially charged batteries which helped to check it out; the batteries are rechargable and very heavy duty. The controls are easy to use: one click gets you the main lamp - two gets you the outboard two lamps, three gets you intermittant flashing, four clicks gets you a red beam for those who need to maintain their night vision, and then the next click turns off all lights. Even the nylon strapping is heavy duty, so it should last a long time. Good gear for a good price, and if it lasts as it looks to do, it will be well worth the price.

I was curious about how much time I would get from this lamp if I needed it in the backcountry while I am hiking. Sometimes I underestimate how much daylight I have and need a good head lamp to get me out safely. So I charged this bad boy up, turned on the middle lamp only (and really that's all you need because this beast has some crazy illumination), and then I set a stopwatch. I would have been impressed with a few hours of light. Nope, this thing stayed lit for over 11 hours before the battery died. Definitely a good purchase.

i didnt think id use it as much as i do but its worked great everytime. great fit, brightness is amazing. the only thing i dont like abt it is that we have to toggle 4 times to turn it off or maybe theres a button i am not aware of. other than that, its a great product and for the price, id recommend this 8/10 times

This headlamp is bright enough to make the sun squint and the ability to focus the beams onto a tight area would probably permanently or even partially blinded a critter outside in the yard (I don't have anything to back that up so I may be full of crap and haven't a clue.) the flashing mode is ungodly fast ,intense, and reminded me of my childhood in the 70's disco era. Do not look directly at the light or you made incur the same pain that is from staring at the sun. You're gonna do it just to see how bright this thing can be, but I told you so .Seriously though, this thing is a huge improvement over my old one from wally world, I did not check the functions before I ordered so the strobe was surprising.

Oh this is so good! This headlamp provides the right amount of light for the tasks being completed: walking the pups at night - check! Early morning run - check! Painting walls in low natural light room - check! Working on crafts - check! I do not regret this purchase. In addition to the above, I appreciate it coming with a battery - although it worked right out of the box, I did follow the directions and fully charge. You will not regret this!

you never know when you are going to need one of this, so I got one for my each of my kids, just in case.

It’s going back to Amazon. Big, heavy, clunky, and it didn’t fit well. I had the highest hopes but it let me down lol. It’s really not an improvement over a similar item I bought 10 years ago so I’m just gonna keep that.I guess it’s OK. I just expected more.
