Works great with a Bauer palm router on my Foxalien 4040XE. Dust isn't an issue and it stays on well.

It’s a perfect fit for the Makita router. Good quality, easy to install. I like the transparent design. Overall, great value for the money.

Was hoping it would work for me as I think it’s well made. But it will not work with my Genmitsu 4040-pro, at least not with 65mm router. It sticks out the back too much and runs into the bottom of the z-axis assembly not allowing you to lower the z-axis very far. The picture shows how far I could lower it before encountering resistance.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought the FoxAlien dust shoe along with my FoxAlien Masuter Pro. First I must say we really like the CNC Masuter Pro. It does everything they advertise. But the dust shoe is a bad design. We used it with the upgraded Makita cnc router. The problem is that there is just not enough clearance with the shoe in place to cut or route anything wider than about .75 inch material. We broke all sorts of wood trying to make it work. It came off easily a number of times and broke a bit. I think this thing is actually dangerous. Also, the dust adapter can only be used with a small vacuum which doesn't really help much. I needed taking off the bottom part of the shoe and using my regular vacuum on it. Anyways. Don't buy it.

The dust shoe does an ok job of picking up the dust. My main complaint is customer support. When I finally got an answer from customer support, they had no idea what part I was looking for. I wanted to buy a replacement magnet for one that had broken and I wanted a replacement brush as I do a lot of 3d parts and the brush is to long. I wanted to cut one shorter and have the original for cut out parts. They ask for a picture of what I wanted, come on, there is an upper and lower half, two magnets, two screws, and a screw on brush. I bought a replacment magnet from Amazon and it is stronger than the original and paid $8 for 50 of them. Still haven't found a replacement brush.

Works better than expected. It's universal and fits great. I don't run my cnc without it. So much easier to keep work area clean.

I put it on a 4040 Pro, to work you have to grind a flat spot on the back side so that it clears the limit switch foam insulation protector. Other that that is performing excellent

Best item I bought for my cnc fits to the spindle with adapters if needed and then fit dust extractor then little or no dust at all.

I have a 65mm router and the added insert fits perfectly. There is an outer ring of bristles and a shorter inner ring which for me is the perfect design.A 38mm vacuum hose is required
