I have a bandit wood chipper and need to replace the powerview unit. does this require programming specific to the chipper or do i just plug it in?

Just plug it in and it should work. It can display a lot of things so you may have to change the display so you can see what you need to see but they work perfect in bandit chippers. Installed many myself

Excellent replacement for John Deere original diagnostic gauge

The original Deere diagnostic gauge at my upper helm failed after several seasons exposed to the Mexican sun. Except for lacking the Deere name, it is an exact replacement for the original including 4-in-one display, utilities, stored fault codes, etc. I would not hesitate to give it 5 stars but for the fact that I haven't had it installed very long but functionally it's great.
